Insulation Technology Made in Sweden Such awesome insulation, there is nothing else like it. Matte Karlsson, TV and celebrity carpenter NATURAL & ENVIRONMENTALLY FRIENDLY CELLULOSE INSULATION icell eco insulation - keep warm, cool and quiet lifestyle for green energy

icell site MADE IN SWEDEN The environmentally friendly and green option At icell, we are working to minimize our environmental footprint in all aspects. Going from raw material to finished insulation requires much less energy than for example manufacturing of mineral wool. Our production method is completely mechanical using a dry, cold process with additives that are harmless to the environment. We choose green electricity from wind and hydro power. In addition, icell cellulose insulation can be recycled over and over again. Major environmental benefits In Sweden, approximately 4 million cubic meters of insulation is built into our homes annually. Choosing the right kind of insulation materials leads to extensive environmental benefits. By recycling 1 ton of newspapers we save 19 trees, 4,000 kwh of energy, 29,000 liters of clean water, 3 cubic meters of garbage, and a total of 30 kg of toxic waste. A safer flame retardant The flame retardant used by icell complies with the current European Technical Assessment (ETA) regulations. This innovation, the icell Skiva, is perhaps the greatest advancement in the insulation industry since the 1960 s

FOR HEAT, COLD, AND SOUND icell Lösull - loose wool insulation A material s insulating properties depend on three main factors: air flow resistance, heat capacity and convection. With its high density combined with a high level of inertia, icell Lösull insulates better than mineral wool. Its high density and air flow resistance also result in an excellent sound insulating capability with the best heat capacity. The density and the weight of approximately 50 kg per m³ for walls and pitched roofs prevent air flow (convection) within the insulation. icell insulates floors - cold floors become warm icell insulates walls - loose-fill is excellent for filling walls icell insulates pitched roofs - with effective sound insulation as an added benefit included in the purchase icell insulates your attic - seamless insulation on the attic floor Installation process The work environment and installation techniques for cellulose loose fill offer advantages for installers, construction companies and property owners. There is no waste since only the exact amount of material is installed for each construction project. The remaining insulation material can be used in the next project. The insulation layers are created without joints, and the material is perfectly suited to be used in both old and new structures. The installer enjoys a much better work environment since the icell Lösull creates less dust and does not contain any hazardous substances. icell Lösull will save you material since there is no waste, only the exact amount of material for each construction is installed. The remainder of the insulation can be used in the next building project. icell Lösull provides insulation layers without joints, and the material can be used in both old and new structures. icell Lösull is registered at Construction Product assessment (Byggvarubedömningen), BASTA (SE) and has SundaHus Material Data. Construction Product Declaration is given as ebvd with the Swedish Association of Construction Product Companies (Byggmaterialindustrierna). icell Lösull has a superior insulating capacity with its high density combined with high inertia, and its air flow resistance also results in an excellent sound insulating capability

INNOVATION EASY TO HANDLE - NO ITCHING icell Skiva - batt insulation We have developed an eco-friendly insulation batt for the building industry, and now the icell Skiva is ready for the market. This insulation batt can be used as additional insulation or in new buildings. The icell Skiva is based on the same eco-efficient cellulose insulation as icell Lösull. The icell Skiva is easy to handle, is virtually dust-free, and is excellent for the work environment, no itching or other irritations - simply a delight to work with for the installer. With icell Skiva you can build with open diffusion due to the hygroscopic properties of the cellulose material. There are currently several recognized providers of insulation systems with vapor retarders and house wraps/ roofing underlays, which were developed to form a balanced climate screen. The building breathes and becomes increasingly healthier and sounder. The icell Skiva is easy to handle, is virtually dust-free, and is excellent for the work environment Current sizes for the icell Skiva Dimensions (ThxWxL, mm) pcs/pkt m 2 /pkt icell Skiva W45 (45 x 565 x 1170) 12 7,93 icell Skiva W70 (70 x 565 x 1170) 8 5,29 icell Skiva W95 (95 x 565 x 1170) 6 3,97 icell Skiva W120 (120 x 565 x 1170) 5 3,31 icell Skiva W145 (145 x 565 x 1170) 4 2,64 icell Skiva W170 (170 x 565 x 1170) 4 2,64 The icell Skiva is easy to cut and we especially recommend using our own toothless insulation saw icell Skiva is registered at BASTA (SE) and SundaHus Material Data. Construction Product Declaration is given as ebvd with Swedish Association of Construction Product Companies (Byggmaterialindustrierna). The icell Såg was developed in collaboration with Bacho.

icell uses Nordic eco-labeled, recycled newspapers in its production, which in turn are made out of cellulose fibers from Swedish pine trees. Recycling newspapers in order to produce effective insulation is a great way to save raw materials and energy. From forest to newsprint to cellulose insulation Green benefits with icell cellulose insulation: icell cellulose insulation can absorb and release moisture and thereby allows the house to breathe without the need for vapor barriers. icell s production of cellulose loose-fill, from raw material to finished product, consumes significantly less energy than insulation material made out of minerals or oil. icell s production plant uses electricity from wind and hydro power. icell uses Nordic eco-labelled recycled newspapers in its production. icell s manufacturing process takes place in the midst of our Nordic market, which reduces the environmental impact caused by transportation. icell s 6,000 square meter factory in Älvdalen is the most modern of its kind in the world Research and development icell s research and development team collaborates with the Swedish Royal Institute of Technology, which means that we are at the forefront of process technology and environmental adaptation. Our own laboratory for quality control icell uses its own modern lab for regular quality controls. We test all fire and Lambda values with traceability after delivery. This exactitude is your guarantee of an insulation product of the highest class.

Vision and innovation Building a new factory from scratch has provided us with fantastic opportunities to design and optimize the production of the most natural insulating materials on the market based on forest cellulose. During the development phase, we studied the manufacturing processes thoroughly to make them as effective and energy efficient as possible. We avoided the burden of old, inefficient solutions to solely focus on one thing - producing the best possible cellulose insulation. For you, the customer, our attention to detail leads to a superb insulation product, which saves energy that will in turn improve the indoor climate in buildings for many years to come. Whether you are a contractor, a professional builder, a do-it-yourselfer, or a property owner, you can reap both the benefit and enjoyment of the world s most modern production plant for cellulose insulation. Cellulose is a natural and effective insulating material that can be handled without protective clothing and is easy to recycle. Better for the environment icell uses mainly uncirculated newspapers for production. By recycling 1 ton of newspaper, we save 19 trees, 4,000 kwh of energy, 29,000 liters of clean water, 3 cubic meters of garbage and a total of 30 kg of toxic waste.
