2 Luxafloor FCF FAST CURE FLOOR COATING LUXAFLOOR FCF is a two pack, high performance, fast cure floor coating designed to get assets back into service quickly with very short cure times while maintaining a long pot life allowing for flexible application. LUXAFLOOR FCF exhibits excellent gloss and colour retention under UV exposure, making it suitable for exterior application. LUXAFLOOR FCF should be applied on to correctly prepared concrete floors with LUXAFLOOR AGGREGATES for slip resistant finishes as required. 3 PREPARATION NEW CONCRETE 01 Remove all surface contaminants with Gamlen CA 1 detergent. 02 Fill any cracks or voids using appropriate repair filler*. 03 Diamond grind, track or light shot blast. Remove all dust by vacuum cleaning. *IF USING REPAIR FILLERS OR YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT POTENTIAL CONTAMINANTS IN THE CONCRETE, PRIME WITH DUREMAX GPE WITH QUICKTURN HARDENER AS THE FIRST COAT PRIOR TO USING LUXAFLOOR FCF. 01 Test adhesion by standard cross hatch adhesion test. If coating fails remove it. If coating is sound continue. 02 Remove all surface contaminants with Gamlen CA 1 detergent. 03 Fill any cracks or voids using appropriate repair filler. Spot prime any bare areas. 04 Diamond grind. Vacuum clean to remove all dust. LUXAFLOOR FCF WILL NOT CURE ON ALKYD BASED OR WATER BASED FLOOR COATINGS. IF YOU ARE IN ANY DOUBT ABOUT THE EXISITING COATING TYPE USE DUREMAX GPE WITH QUICKTURN HARDENER AS THE FIRST COAT PRIOR TO USING LUXAFLOOR FCF. If you're in any doubt about contaminants, use Duremax GPE with Quickturn Hardener as a primer.
