8 Case Vierumäki: Project Context The Sport Institute of Finland was founded in Its main function is to develop, produce and market nationally and internationally competitive training, exercise and educational services in the fields of physical education and leisure. Vierumäki is located in southern Finland. 130 kilometers north from Helsinki - or about one hour from the airport. The Vierumäki Group consists of the Sport Institute of Finland and the Vierumäki Country Club Ltd with a highquality hotel and restaurant services.
