1 BETL Compliance to Inspection Report of Independent Consultant for the month of October 2014 Ground Level From Silk Board to Electronic City (Km.8/765 to km.18/750) Sl 1 Median Plantation Maintenance and replacing to be done. 2 M.S. Barricades Railings are damaged at different places and need to be repaired or replaced. Balance portion of damaged median plantation below Flyover to be replaced. 17/085 to 18/300 and to be irrigated. Balance portion as well as portion from Bommanahalli - Kudlu Gate damaged due to cable repair has to be replanted- Please replant and start watering -Regular Watering required. All missing M.S. Barricades to be replaced (540) nos. No progress noted as promised in September, hence actual date of excecution may be reported. - Please furnish a programme for completion using revised design. Notice issued. 1) Cultivation and plantation work is completed at Electronics City 1) Planted Avenue plant at ROW: 362 2) Planted Median plant at Higyway section: ) Planted Median plant at Elevated Highway: 3325 Total 500 nos. M.S. Barricades have been replaced as on date ) Completed from Silk Board Section to Bommasandra on RHS 2) Completed from Silk Board Section to Attibele on LHS 3) Balance 40 nos. would be replaced at the earliest. 2.1 Ornamental Railings Railings are damaged at different places and need to be repaired or replaced. 3 Culverts Ornamental railing below flyover to be repaired. Ch: 9/680, 10/380, 10/510, 11/725, 11/920, 11/980, 12/200, 12/440, 13/130, 13/270. No Progress noted as promised in September, hence actual date of execution may be reported. - Replacing of missing ornamental railing is an independent work. -Pls. furnish a programme for replacing the missing railings. 1) BETL had submitted proposal for Installation of High Raised Fencing in the centre Median on Change of Scope to NHAI. But NHAI HQ Delhi has not yet approved. Hence, not started work now. 2) However missing railing would be taken up and programme will be forwarded. Culverts have been chocked. Frequent Cleaning and follow up action required - Pls. continue. We regularly taking up the cleaning of the Culverts after each and every rainy day.

2 Sl 4 Traffic operation facilities 4.1 Traffic signs Traffic signs have been damaged or destroyed and need to be repaired or replaced. 5 Road markings/ Median painting Damages Noticed. No Progress noted as promised in september, hence actual dated of execution may be reported -Please see near Down ramp plaza - Out of 7 nos. 3 nos only done. (CH: 10/450 LHS, 13/200 RHS, 15/300 LHS, 16/650 RHS) Notice Issued. Completed partially. Balance work to be completed immediatly. Whereever road marking is not visible that is to be attended now - Kerb painting to be done now. Notice Issued. 1) Fixing of traffic sign board at Down ramp plaza have been completed 2) We have completed the following Chainages: 1) KM 19/350 (RHS), 2) KM 16/650 (RHS) 3) KM 28/000, 4) KM 28/900, 5) KM 31/300 (RHS) 6) KM15/300 (LHS), 7) KM 13/200 (RHS) and 8) KM 10/450 (LHS) 1) Within a month or two we are planning to start overlaying simultaneously will take up the kerb painting and road marking. 2) We have completed Kerb Painting at EC-I and EC-II plazas. Balance work i.e. from KM to (b/s) will be taken up after the rain subsides. 3) Pot holes rectified at Elevated Highway starting and also have been completed 6 Encroachments on to ROW 6.1 Encroachments are noticed in the following chainages. (separately given) Follow up action required - The position of Encroachment at Attibele to be informed - A Consolidated report of eviction may be given - Pls. furnish a programme for completing balance encroachment. 1) We may not be able to give a programme since it involves Police and Political interference. However, we try our best to clear. 2) Approximately 7 petty shops and un authorised parking from the stretch have been removed. 3) Heavy mechinery parked at chainage 9/050 (RHS) have been removed with the help of Madiwala Police Station. 4) We are waiting for SLAO Document/reports. soon after receiving the related to land Acquisition documents from the SLAO we will speed up eviction of Encroachments immediately. 7 Kilometer stones, ROW stones and Hectometer stones are missing. Kilometer stone painted but no lettering. ROW stone remain to replace. - Please call for Joint Inspection. ROW Stone fixing have been completed for the following a) KM 22/000 to KM on RHS b) KM to KM 24/000 on LHS balance would be taken up. 1) Hectometer stones are ordered for supply. Then it will be completed.

BETL Complements 1) Pot holes repair would be taken up now. 2) We have made arrangement to repair balance portion. 2 Metal Crash Barriers (W-Beam) Metal crash Barriers damaged. 19/000,(LHS), 20/000,(RHS), 20/300(RHS SR), 22/000(RHS), and 26/700(RHS) - Not done, Notice Issued. 1) We have completed the work earlier 2) Due to accident following W- Beam have been again damaged at Chainage 20/300 (RHS) and 26/700 (RHS) which would be completed within 5 days time. 3 M.S. Barricades M.S Barricades are damaged at different places and need to be repaired or replaced. 23/250, 25/050, 25/750, 26/800, 26/950, 27/200, 28/960, 29/150, 29/600, 30/400, 31/720 to 31/800. Balance to be attended - Pls. furnish a programme. Notice Issued. 1) The Following chainages have been completed: 23/250, 25/750, 26/800, 26/950, 27/200, 28/960, 29/150, 31/720 to 31/800. 2) The following chainages is under progress: 25/050, 29/600 and 30/400 (RHS) 4 Service Roads The service roads are generally in reasonable conditions. Except some portion. 5 Culverts Culverts have been chocked. 6 Traffic operation facilities 6.1 Traffic signs/hazard Markers Traffic signs /Hazard Markers have been damaged or destroyed and need to be repaired or replaced. Repair to Damaged portion 19/500, 20/800 - To start now. To be Cleaned on regular basis. Pls. continue. Now work will be taken up and completed. We are regularly cleaning culverts and drains after each and every rainy day. Traffic signs /Hazard Markers are damaged mainly Completed already. 4 Sl 7 Road markings/median Painting 7.1 Damages Noticed. 1) Road marking done from 22/000, 25/250 both sides, Kerb painting/road Marking will be taken up after overlaying. 22/ on LHS only, Balance to be done. 2) Kerb painting done at Median opening & Bus stops - Progress is only 50% faded portion now to be attended. Total repainting after overlaying - Notice Issued. 8 Encroachments on to ROW 8.1 Encroachments are still noticed. A booklet showing total encroachment is supplied for necessary action. BETL Reported to police only. Reported to police & Local Authorities. A Consolidated report may be furnished - Pls. furnish a programme for completing balance encroachment 1) We may not be able to give a programme since it involves Police and Political interference. However, we try our best to clear. 2) Out of 11 sheds 6 have been removed by issuing the notice to the defaulters. Remainig are still required to be removed with the help of Police. Encroachments at CH: 20/600 (in form of Blue GI Sheets will be removed during the 1st week of November 2014 as the cavity is required to be filled up (for safety purpose) before removing the sheets. 3) Further progress for removal of encroachment at near Attibele Toll Plaza could not be done due to some political interference. Balance will be completed. 4) We are waiting for SLAO Document/reports. soon after receiving the related to land Acquisition documents from the SLAO we will speed up eviction of Encroachments immediately. 9 Kilometer stones, ROW stones and Hectometer stones are missing. 6 SL No IC's Remarks IC's Inspection report: October - Part-II BETL Compliance Report FLYOVERS: ELEVATED PORTION: 1 The General lightings % of glowing lights now declined Report Separetely given. 1) All the bulbs are replaced. 2) Additional load of 10KW got sanctioned for Roopena Agrahara Median lighting. 3) Roopena Agrahara street lights are fully functional now. 4) All lights are glowing. BASE CAMP 1 & 2, TOLL PLAZAS AND TOLLING EQUIPMENTS: 1) Cleaning of the toll plaza areas and administration building premises needs to be done more regularly and thoroughly. 2) Toll Plaza appearance to be improved. 3) The broken iron bar and glass to be replaced Please call for Joint Inspection after completion. 1 1) Floors Attibele Toll plaza to be replaced and painting required. 2) At down ramp Hosur missing boom barrier to be replaced - Improve the facilites now. 2 3 Subways: Floor cleaning and Lighting We check roof for leaking at Hebbagodi Rectification work to be done during dry season - Regular cleaning required. 1) Kerb painting at EC-I and EC-II have been completed down ramp plaza is under progress. 2)Painting at administration building also completed. 3) We regularly taking up the cleaning of All Toll Plazas 1) Flooring defects will be rectified at the time of construction of new toll booths in the median. 2) We will intimate for Joint inspection. Boom Barrier which would be in RFID lane the same will be completed in the time of Installation of RFID lane. Regularly doing De-watering & rectification work for seepage. Lighting work is ccompleted.
