1 2015 Construction Survey Number of construction enterprises The number of construction enterprises was 67,897 enterprises in 2015, which increased by 3.0 percent (1,947 enterprises) from General construction enterprises amounted to 9,889 enterprises, up 1.7 percent (163 enterprises). The costs of construction increased by 2.7 percent (8.3 trillion won) to trillion won. - The annual sales of domestic construction grew by 5.7 percent to trillion won. Whereas, the annual sales of overseas construction fell by 16.5 percent to 44.4 trillion won. * The annual sales include outsourcing construction value of trillion won.

Craft workers recorded 133 thousand persons. Temporary and daily workers recorded 825 thousand persons. The annual sales of overseas construction amounted to 35.8 trillion won. - The top 100 construction enterprises occupied 30.6 percent of the total annual sales of domestic construction.
