Compounds can be supplied as strips, precut sheets, continuous sheets, or precise calendered sheets. Compounds can be manufactured in line with the customer s own recipe. Recipes can be developed in collaboration with the customer for a specific application, or the customer can be offered Sekoitukset Oy s existing, tried and proven mixing recipes. 5

6 Production Tuotanto Hose production The hose manufacturing and delivery process begins with evaluation of the use, application, and other requirements. We use this information to find suitable standard hoses, or, alternatively, we can determine the material and structure requirements necessary in the design of a customer specific solution chemical, temperature, wear, or pressure-resistance, for instance. Finally, these requirements are processed into data for the hose manufacturing process. The manufacturing station in hose production at the Vammala factory creates fabric- and wire reinforced hoses, curved hoses, and connecting hoses from various polymers as the use in question demands. The factory has several production lines, for different purposes, and uses numerous material alternatives to manufacture any hose structures that the customer may require. Hose manufacturing is based on the use of metal mandrels, which produce excellent dimensional accuracy and are suitable for manufacturing diverse hose constructions no matter the application. Highly automated hose production lines enable design and manufacture of many hose sizes. If needed, hoses that require special solutions can be manufactured manually. Precise quality requirements and efficient quality control and development measures in all stages of the process guarantee high production quality, in terms of both the manufacturing process and the products. 6
