See attached project staging site plan that outlines area for parking and construction equipment. BB. ROOFING AND COPING CAPS BB.1 BB.2 The roofing contractor was Snohomish Valley Roofing (phone ). It is assumed that CertainTeed was the roof manufacturer. Chimney caps, upper roof skylights, and other roof appurtenances are beyond the scope of work, unless otherwise noted. CC. EXTERIOR WALL CLADDING CC.1 CC.2 CC.3 All obscured glass windows shall be replaced with satin-etched glass windows. This includes entry and bathroom windows. Side lites that are integral with the entry doors shall be replaced with double pane satin-etched glass. At NE 68 th Street, Unit A, the horizontal mullion on dining room window shall remain at the existing height to match the plantation shutter s main horizontal member. Remove, identify, and store all (100%) existing retractable fabric deck awnings. Reinstall all awnings on correct units upon completion of work. CC.4 Increase wiring relocation allowance to $10,000. CC.5 Provide a $10,000 gas pipe relocation allowance to re-locate any existing gas lines currently routed outside of siding into exterior wall cavity, as identified by HOA/architect. DD. WATERPROOF UNIT DECKS AND 2 ND FLOOR ENTRIES DD.1 DD.2 Remove and protect all (100%) of all existing wood entry doors. Reinstall existing doors after installing sill pans and membrane coatings as detailed in the Remediation Manual. Base bid at guardrails includes new fascia mounted open mid-rail (aka double top rail) aluminum with matelux acid-etched privacy glass panel at all elevated private decks. Include new stair and entry walkway handrails and guardrails to match. Page 1 of 3

2 DD.2.1 Provide alternate pricing for new fascia mounted open mid-rail (aka double top rail) aluminum with clear glass panel deck railings. Include new stair and entry walkway handrails and guardrails to match. DD.2.2 Provide alternate pricing for metal panel (Banker Wire FPZ-46) deck railings in lieu of glass panel railings. EE. DRAIN THROUGH UNT DECKS EE.1 EE.2 Include pricing for drain through unit deck guardrails in base bid (DD.2) and alternates (DD.2.1 and DD.2.2) pricing above. For pricing, assume Trex Transcend in 1 grooved edge board with hidden fasteners. Colors shall be selected from classic earth tones palette. FF. CONCRETE PATIOS AND LOWER ENTRIES FF.1 FF.2 FF.3 FF.4 Remove and protect all (100%) of all existing wood entry doors. Reinstall existing doors after installing sill pans as detailed in the Remediation Manual. Existing fence removal and reinstallation necessary to access the work shall be included in the base scope of work. Fences that are currently attached to the building face shall be modified to be connected to a freestanding post (to match existing). Coordinate this work with fence replacement alternate. Where existing, concrete pavers at concrete patios shall be removed to complete work. GG. UPPER ENTRIES, WALKWAYS, AND STAIRS GG.1 Include pricing for walkway and stair guardrails in base bid (DD.2) and alternates (DD.2.1 and DD.2.2) pricing above. HH. CARPORTS HH.1 Include removal and disposal of existing (unused) mailboxes. II. II.1 PAINTING No clarifications to this section. Page 2 of 3

3 JJ. LANDSCAPING AND IRRIGATION JJ.1 JJ.2 The Home Owner s Association s landscaping company shall prune and remove vegetation as necessary to allow access to the building. The contractor shall walk the site with the landscaper to verify what modifications are necessary to perform the work. Contractors shall rake and clean site before completing job. Upon completion, the landscapers shall reinstall landscaping. Re-grade soil as needed to obtain the required 6 clearance between the siding and grade. KK. SITE MISCELLANEOUS KK.1 The fence around the trash enclosure shall be considered part of the enclosure and not part of the fencing at concrete patio alternate (F.2). LL. PLANS AND DETAILS LL.1 See attached site plan sheet. This plans contains an accurate parking stall count, pathways, and extent of vegetated areas. MM.
