2 Redefining Pipeline Repair echnology he Helicoid poxy Sleeve is a helically-wound, carbon-fibre reinforced, mechanically-interlocking Polyethylene (P) strip. he sleeve allows for an annulus of approximately 40mm around the pipe to be filled with an epoxy or cementitious grout, providing outstanding strengthening and protection qualities. Designed, tested and certified in accordance with the ASM PCC-2, the Helicoid poxy Sleeve is an accepted repair method under the ASM B31.4 & ASM B31.8S, for repairs of external wall thinning, dents and gouges. he Helicoid poxy Sleeve, available in diameters from 150 mm up to 750 mm, boasts completely diver-less and online installation on vulnerable offshore risers & conductors, with specific focus on the critical splash-zone area. ith a total length of approximately 6.00m, the sleeve covers approximately 3.00m above and below the Mean Sea Level (MSL), ensuring a more effective and comprehensive repair system.

Surface Preparation he installation of the Helicoid poxy Sleeve is preceded by Surface Preparation, capable of removing neoprene liners & coatings, as well as heavy marine growth up to 3.00m below Mean Sea Level (MSL), without the intervention of divers he lightweight, modular and semi-autonomous system can be installed by a crew of 2 technicians and is capable of achieving surface cleanliness up to Industrial Hydroblasting Standard SSPC-SP-12-J3 by means of Ultra High Pressure ater blasting.
