2 ECOFEU DV W L ECOFEU DV 110 is a CE and NF-certified double-flap smoke exhaust ventilation rooflight (SHEV). This smoke exhaust vent features two flaps opening at 110 with a pneumatic operating system. It is intended for installation in waterproofed roofs. STANDARD DESCRIPTION The smoke and heat exhaust ventilation for the building will be completed with Smoke and Heat Exhaust Vents (SHEVs) ECOFEU DV 110 ECODIS, CE certified according to CE , NF certified according to NF , and in compliance with «Machine Directive». Performance classes in accordance with the French regulation requirements, including natural ventilation function cycles. Galvanized metal kerb 400mm high with insulation, two opening frames of 110, pneumatic mecanism, cover in opalescent multi-wall polycarbonate, fire rating B-s1.d0 (M1), and thermofuse rated at 93 C. 4 DESCRIPTION THE COVERS Cover in opalescent multiwall polycarbonate (MPC), 10 mm of thickness (standard). It is integrated in a F aluminium profile completely tight. Fire rating : B-s1.d0 (M1). (Several types of glazing are available) THE OPENING FRAMES The opening frames are made of galvanized steel. On safety position, they open at 110 thanks to the electric linear drive. On waiting position, they locks themselves under the fix frame thanks to the unique patented system. THE SPOILERS (for HPA version) The spoilers are in aluminium for good resistance to the outside environment (less soiling and corrosion). They are factoryfitted directly on the kerb : no loss of time on the work site. THE DRIVES The two pneumatic drives are equiped with stroke end cushioning. CONTROL SYSTEM The control system is commanded by a manually operable device (DCM - Dispositif de Commande Manuelle) pneumatic opening and closing in accordance with standard NF S The SHEV is equiped with a factoryfitted thermofuse, rated at 93 C, for commanding opening. THE KERB The kerb is made of galvanized steel. Its standard height is 400 mm. Thermal insulation is guaranteed by a thermowelding insulation material of 15mm thickness. ISO+ offer includes reinforced insulation to limit heat losses: 15 % of savings compared to a standard equipment. Pneumatic ventilation in standard version, at no extra cost. ISO+ solution optimizes insulation of the smoke and heat exhaust vents : 15% of savings compared to standard equipment. - Urc : 3,10 W/m².K for the 16mm AeroTech MPC cover. 6 OPTIONS New : Kerb with reinforced insulation KERB Anti-fall and anti-burglary protection grid (RE) 1200 Joules The RE protection grid from ECODIS meets the requirements of regional health system regarding safety of employees working on roofs, and Labor Code. It was tested successfully for the standardized test of a person falling from his/her own height : 1200 joules trial. (Refer to documentation «Solutions 1200 Joules»). Limit switch Two limit switches (safety position / waiting position) can be connected to a signal control panel. This system is useful to control the position of all the smoke & heat exhaust vents of the installation without having to climb on the roof. This option is required for installation of SHEVs in a Category A or B Fire Safety System according to French regulation. Fitted kerb for PVC membrane The insulation material is placed reversed when assembling the kerb, with non-bitumen side outward to help pull up and fix the PVC membrane with the supplied omegas. Tested at CNRS, it guarantees a better insulation without modification of the kerb nor modification of dimensions, for an optimum thermal transmission coefficient. About 15% of savings compared to a standard equipment. ISO + offer also includes a cover of 16 or 32 mm and an insulating seal between the cover and the kerb. Without thermofuse Useful option when the regulation requires the fire detection to command the Smoke and Heat exhaust system. Coating The inside of the kerb as well as the security bars are coated in our workshop: all RAL colours are available upon request. Reversed insulation material SPECIAL RENOVATION Renovation set for opening systems at 110 It is an upstand that covers the existing gap for smoke and heat exhaust ventilation, CE and NF certified, two flaps opening at 110, to be installed on existing buildings for renovation and compliance purposes. The upstand is made of galvanized steel, 400mm high (minimum 350 mm), standard mounting flange 100 mm and overlap 50 mm. For a perfect adaptation on existing kerb, the lenghts of mounting flange and overlap can be modified. The upstand may be doubled with insulation upon request. VENTILATION Pneumatic ventilation Pneumatic ventilation is possible with ECOFEU DV 110 equipment without modifications or additional cost. It is then necessay to connect the smoke Vent to a specific «confort» pneumatic control panel that is used for both functions : smoke & heat exhaust and natural ventilation. It is made of polyurethane foam of 20 or 25mm sandwiched between two layers of resin and fiberglass. It is well suited for use in sites where we do not want any skylight: movie theatre, cellars,... and also for sites directly exposed to aggressive chemicals. Thickness : 25 or 30 mm. Light transmission : 0 %. Aluminium cover The aluminium cover enjoys the best fire rating. Thickness : 50 mm. Light transmission : 0 %. Thermal transmission coefficient : U = 0,8 W/m 2 K. Fire rating : A2 s1, d0 (M0). Non-flammable. PMMA dome Dome made of polymethyl methacrylate. One or two skins. Solar protection ECOSUN Solar protection is a sustainable and economic solution to the issue of overheating buildings. This innovative system is made of a perforated aluminium sheet combined to the multiwall polycarbonate of the skylight domes. CSTB trials demonstrate that energetic transmission factor is only 15 %. (refer to specific documentation) Removable external Solar protection screens Made-to-measure canvas cover, PVC coated for greater resistance and long-life, with reinforced hems and eyelets for fixing. Delivered «ready to install», the screen is fastened with a sandow slided into the eyelets.
