2 CONCRETE PRESSURE PIPE Concrete Pressure Pipe (CPP) is an engineered product that combines the best features of concrete and steel to create a robust, safe structure. CPP is considered a rigid pipe design where majority of the structure comes with the pipe. Other pipe materials and designs are flexible which rely on the bedding and backfill to support the system, increasing the risk of installation issues and failures. 4 C301L LINED CONCRETE PRESSURE PIPE Lined CPP consists of a welded steel cylinder, steel joint rings, a centrifugally placed concrete lining, high tensile steel wire and a dense cement mortar coating over the prestressing wire and core. 9 CPP TAPPING SYSTEMS Tapping CPP is a common occurrence in today s public works projects. DECAST field services are fully equipped to provide the technical expertise, material and installation services to make service taps up to 1200mm in diameter (and larger under certain circumstances) on any type of pressure pipe.
