Behind each design lies a desire to challenge your creativity and give you freedom to create beautiful settings by night or daytime while enjoying the peace of mind the Noral quality offers. A.DAPT Adaptability to the environment or architecture is important features in this new built-in fitting with adjustable light direction. Traditional built-in fittings often feature fixed light direction and put many limitations on which shapes and materials where it can be incorporated. The A.Dapt from Noral aims at overcoming many of these limitations. It has been designed to be built into a wide range of shapes - natural stone, concrete or even stone sculptures or walls are just some examples. The examples given in this document are calculated using standard reflectors and glass and MT 35 W and FSQ 10 light source. For accurate calculation and optimal choice of optic and light source for a specific installation we suggest you contact your nearest Noral office or Noral Distributor. Our light specialists will give advice and provide you with the required data using the Relux light calculation software. MATERIALS MECHANICAL ELECTRICAL Housing - extruded and gravity cast AlSi 12 aluminium alloy. Lens - tempered clear or frosted glass IK10 (20 Joule). Reflector - sheet aluminium. Hardware - Stainless steel. Coating - UV-resistant polyester powder coating. Surface treatment - Polyseal system. Protection against aggressive concrete - rubber sheet covering bottom Optical unit - sealed to IP 55 (EN 60598). Reflector - Symmetric. Ballast compartment - sealed to IP 55 (EN 60598). Nominal line voltage - 230V, 50Hz. Insulation - Class I Electrical components - required gear for light source fitted inside. Fuse system - not supplied. Light source - not supplied MAINTENANCE INSTALLATION COLOURS Maintenance and change angle of the light opening require product to be extracted by release of one captive screw. Re-lamping - twist and open access from the side. Ballast compartment - accessed from the side. An integrated support in the base is used to fix the housing to the structure. Cabling - supplied with cable ready connected with quick coupling in the luminaire. Terminal suitable for through wireing of 3 x 2,5mm2 cable. Suitable in/out cable Ø max 5 mm. Required dimensions for integration in custom structures - H = X mm, D = Y mm, W = Z mm including necessary height for mounting and maintenance and corrosion insulation Standard - Metallic Silver, Sable Noir, Bronze. Other colours - on request.

Together with cabling and quick coupling (option) final installation is quick and easy. Just connect the quick coupling, insert the fitting and fasten one screw. The adjustable light opening ensure just the right light effect is created and in a multiple installation a harmonious and complete light setting can easily be achieved. Durability AlSi12 alloy based on recycled pure aluminium is used for strength and prevents corrosion caused by impurities in the metal. UV-resistant polyester powder coating prevents yellowing from UV-rays better than conventional epoxy powder coating. Polyseal surface treatment developed for the aviation industry ensure excellent adherence between metal and polyester coating Tempered glass lens (>IK10-20 Joule) for lasting appearance and protect against vandalism.
