3 Structural Steelwork Structural design is carried out in house by our Charted Structural Engineers. Specific areas of expertise are from standard retail and commercial type structures to the more specialised machine, plant support and heavy industrial/ mechanical structures

4 Structural Steelwork Installation RJD's construction and contract managers operate the installation services. RJD not only erect and install equipment and steel of our own manufactures but also equipment supplied by the customer or others. This construction department also incorporates our site maintenance team, available for short or long term contracts worldwide. Fully skilled in all aspects of Steel erecting and use of lifting equipment, the team are thorough and professional. Such is the experience available within the department that complex heavy lifting projects have been undertaken successfully on time and on budget. Lengthy Manpower contracts have been operated with contracts up to 2 million. RJD have installed portal frames, sign gantries and bridges to complex structures for leisure centres, hotels and material handling facilities.

5 Engineering RJD specialise in various complex plate-work fabrications ranging in plate thickness up to 200mm. In house expertise allows us to work in different grades of steel including corten, stainless and 3cr12 (lifting capacity-60 tonnes) Anchored, machine levelled assembly frames ensure the flatness of the units is maintained throughout production. Our design department utilises the latest computer software such as CADS, CSC, AutoCAD, STRU-CAD and X-STEEL. Benefits of our inhouse engineering design include total control over engineering projects, design and specification changes with minimum disruption. All work to a minimum of ISO 9001:2008 quality standard, other quality and engineering standards available to meet customer requirements. Recent design inclusive contracts are of a varied nature, ranging from large span lattice framed buildings and heavy industrial plant support structures to small and medium sized buildings and structures associated with various industrial and commercial new build and refurbishment contracts in all parts of the world.

6 Engineering Precision RJD's in-house machining facility has the capability to Fabricate and machine base plates trailers and tanks, which are frequently undertaken in our purpose built machine workshop. The horizontal planing machine 4 axis CNC universal head including DRO, is used to finish machine plate fabrication to detailed customer drawings.
