1 Holy Trinity Construction Project Sanctuary Repairs Transepts Social Hall General Assembly Presentation May 29, 2016 The 2016 Construction Project contractual start date was on April 4, The construction should be completed by mid-december The completion date is subject to change based upon weather and the start-stop & progress interruptions we have placed on the contractor in order to accommodate our scheduled weekly church services and unanticipated services, such as funerals. As a reminder, this project will include work to expand the sanctuary, provide improvements to the exterior & interior of the sanctuary, a new roof & maintenance to the social hall and the addition of fire sprinklers to the sanctuary and social hall. The Metropolis Council commented that the addition of the fire sprinklers is a very prudent decision for our parish. Important Safety Reminder The project site will be a HARD HAT AREA. Access to the project site, including certain areas inside the sanctuary, will be restricted and off-limits during the project. The project site will be an OSHA/TOSHA regulated area. This is a serious point to understand. Please obey this requirement. Sanctuary Will Be Temporarily Closed Schedules are subject to change The Sanctuary will be temporarily closed from time to time for safety and to accommodate the equipment and overhead construction that is to be accomplished. An extended period of temporary closure is currently scheduled from July 18, 2016 through August 5, Services will be conducted in the church hall or at other locations as determined by Father Gregory.

2 The sanctuary expansion will increase our internal space with the addition of transepts on both sides. When inside the sanctuary, notice the blue painted areas under the arches on each side.
