9 Upcoming Projects E. Yale Avenue Storm Drain The East Yale Avenue Storm Drain project addresses frequent flooding in the University Hills neighborhood in southeast Denver, at the geographic low point in S. Glencoe Street south of E. Yale Avenue. This location was identified as a Significant Flooding Location in the City s Storm Drainage Master Plan. The first phase of the project is addressing storm drainage along Yale Ave. between Glencoe St. and Dahlia St, significantly improving the drainage conditions in this low-lying area during smaller, more frequent storm events. This new storm water infrastructure will provide capacity to drain approximately a 10 year storm (a storm intensity level that has a 10 percent chance of occurring in any given year); a 100-year storm system (than can handle a storm with an intensity level that has a 1 percent chance of occurring in any given year) cannot currently be installed due to physical limitations in the E. Yale Avenue corridor. Estimated Ad Date: Quarter 2/2018 Mt Elbert General Storm This project will install 3 new storm drain inlets. Two inlets will be placed at the dead end of Hamilton Pl while a third will be placed on the Southside of the Tintersection of Hamilton Pl/Wolff St. A new 12 storm line will connect these three new inlets with the existing storm sewer system that is already in place. Estimated Ad Date: Quarter 2/2018 Ponding at Hamilton & Wolff

The underpass is 14-feet wide, containing a 10-foot tall box culvert, approximately 160 feet in length, located north of the high line canal and north of the existing trail along the canal. Estimated Ad Date: Q2/2018 Broadway Wedge Ramp Reconstruct The project widens or reconstructs southbound Broadway from E. Exposition Ave. to south of E. Ohio Ave. in concrete pavement. A new southbound I-25 on-ramp extends over Broadway, under the existing I-25 viaduct and gains vertical elevation to connect to SB I-25. This new SB I-25 on-ramp will alleviate substantial congestion that currently exists on southbound Broadway, particularly in the PM peak hours. Various adjacent streets will also be modified.
