2 Aegion corporate history Aegion business platforms Insituform background Manufactured Technologies Corporation (MTC) Insituform invented and installed the first ever CIPP in the UK in 1971 In the 1980s, the business grew through a licensee network In the 1990s, CIPP for pressure pipes was developed Since 2015, the Asia operation was restructured to focus on tube supply through MTC MTC provides CIPP tube to customers around the globe. MTC provides cured-in-place pipe tube in a variety of small and large diameters. MTC was formed in 2005 to provide an affordable, high-quality CIPP product to the marketplace.
