2 INVITATION TO TENDER The Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority is looking for a suitably qualified Interior Decorator or Artist Designer to implement interior decoration/design work in the new domestic terminal at the Seychelles International Airport. Scope of Services: The work undertaken will be in the domestic terminal concourse and part of the first floor area only. All designs must aim to integrate an eco-friendly concept with use of environmentally friendly and recycled materials or natural components. Project Period: Completion date should be within two (2) months after signing of agreement. Qualification Criteria: Experience in Interior Design/Decoration or artistic design for Commercial Enterprise. 4-5 years minimum proven working experience in similar field or related including competency or working knowledge of commercial business, airport development. Acquisition of Tender Document: Tender document can be collected as from Tuesday 13 th to Tuesday 20 th February 2018 from 0900hrs to 1500hrs at the Procurement Office, Room 20, Grosvenor House (opposite Airport Cargo Terminal), Pointe Larue or downloaded on the SCAA website > Tenders. Tender Briefing/Site Visit A compulsory site visit will be conducted on Thursday 22 nd February 2018 at 1000hrs. The meeting place will be outside entrance of the Mahe Domestic Terminal. Submission of Tenders Completed tenders must be submitted in a plain sealed envelopes addressed to Chief Executive Officer and marked Tender for Interior Decorations of Domestic Terminal delivered at the Room 20, Grosvenor House (opposite Airport Cargo Terminal), Pointe Larue not later than Monday 12 th March at 1400hrs. Tender Opening Tenders will be opened immediately after closing on Monday 12 th March at 1400hrs in the SCAA Training Room, room number 6, Pointe Larue. 5 SECTION 2 FORM OF TENDER Form shall be returned as part of the tender response TO: Chief Executive Officer Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority Seychelles International Airport Pointe Larue, Mahe, Seychelles I / We undersigned having examined the instructions, specifications, project scope of this bidding document for the service of Interior Decoration/Design Work for the Mahe Domestic Terminal hereby offer to contract for, perform and complete the whole of the said contract in conformity with the aforesaid documents for the sum of: SEYCHELLES RUPEES: TOTAL IN WORDS: Or such sum as may be ascertained in accordance with the said conditions. 6 CONDITIONS OF TENDER 1. The Tender Document shall be completed and submitted by the Bidder, shall be fully compliant to:- Section 1: Business Information Sheet Section 2: Form of Tender Section 3: Scope of work including design, timeline and deliverables. 2. When submitting tender proposal, the document should include fee proposals, staff hours, experience of the same nature, number of staff that will work on the project and customer references (if any available). 3. The successful bidder is expected to finish the work within 2 months after the signing of contract. Failing, the bidder will have to pay a sum of SCR5,000 per week. 4. The successful bidder will have to enter into formal contract, legally binding with the Seychelles Civil Aviation Authority (SCAA). 5. All utility transportation, logistics and taxes charges will be borne by the successful Bidder. Important Note: Completed tender document will be reviewed and evaluated to determine which consultant is mostly compliant and which will be able to provide the best value for services.

7 SECTION 3 SCOPE OF WORK 1. Objective To have an interior décor of the new Domestic Terminal that will create a more welcoming ambience to passengers and integrate the Eco Leap concept into the area as per our sustainable operations strategy. As part of the décor, there should be a set-up of plant fittings, feature garden, textured claddings and artwork in the concourse area for an upgraded modernized finishing. The eco- friendly theme will allow passengers to experience the destination first hand at the port of entry and give a Zen and yet contemporary ambiance. 2. Scope of Work Concept Design Prepare and present a schematic design including 3D presentation as per indicative concept in Annex 1 Design Development Phase Submit a Bill of Quantities including costing Design specifications details and material list Implementation Phase Supply and work execution Project deliverables including schedule of work Handover of work 3. Deliverables Schematic Layout plan, 3D visual Underwater lighting for water feature (optional) Water feature: pump, tiling, fittings Local Potted plants (clay pots): Large shrubs, palms, creepers, ornamental flowers Local Artwork: Paintings, photography, sculptures (wood, metal or recycle materials), art decoration
