2 HISTORY BEGINNING IN INNOVATIONS The story of the company starts in 1999 when Aleksandr Gridin along with his associates, who were already experienced in ship repair and rope access, offered to use the method of rope access in ship inspection work. Soon after, this method of inspection work (rope access) was endorsed by classification societies. Original and rational technical solutions were highly appreciated by clients and this served as a good recommendation for the company in its further activity THE FIRST STEPS IN SHIP REPAIR By 2002 the sphere of the company s activities had expanded. Apart from elevated work, the company began providing complex shipbuilding services. Not having its own ship repair facilities, the company initially began to provide qualitative ship repair works within the Baltic States, and soon after entered West European markets A BREAKTHROUGH IN SHIPBUILDING The first foreign order was received from Finland in Its successful implementation not only allowed the company to rise to a higher level in the quality of its ship repair work, but also to assay its abilities in a new sphere of activity shipbuilding. Work started to be executed at industrial facilities in countries such as Norway, Sweden, Netherlands, Belgium, Austria, Spain, Great Britain, etc INTERNATIONAL TRAINING CENTER In 2006 a decision on the establishment of a private Gridin s Group educational center for training and education in specialities that there was a shortage of was adopted. Over the course of time, the educational center acquired the status of the International Training Center (ITC) ALTERNATIVE COURSE The global economic crisis drove the company management to search for and expand into alternative types of activities, and as a result, the company started providing services for structures involved in wind power engineering and other industrial constructions. It has solidified its positions and has continued to develop its activities in the offshore sector.

3 ACTIVITIES Training of technical specialists by following the requirements of potential customers and for the integrated management and execution of various industrial projects. The Gridin s Group International Training Center (ITC) was founded in 2006 to respond efficiently to the market needs for training and the advanced training of technical specialists having rare specialities. Within 8 years of the International Training Center s (ITC s) existence, more than 4,000 specialists have acquired theoretical knowledge and practical skills within its walls. For more information, please, visit: THE BASIC TRAINING STAGES OF TECHNICAL according to individual customer needs ANALYSIS OF THE TECHNICAL SPECIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS received from a customer for a specific project. Technical consultants of the Gridin s Group ITC carry out their preliminary work by assessing the specifics and working conditions of the customer s projects. DEVELOPMENT OF A SPECIALIZED PROGRAM AND TESTS in accordance with the specific requirements of the customer s work, health protection and safety requirements. CREATION OF SPECIALIZED FACILITIES (SIMULATORS) for practicing the necessary practical skills by using equipment similar to that used at the customer s facilities. CANDIDATE SELECTION based on specific requirements. A THEORETICAL TRAINING COURSE and the testing of candidates. EXERCISE OF THE PRACTICAL SKILLS including simulation and modelling of various work situations. FINAL EXAMINATION (if required, attended by a customer representative). CERTIFICATION of specialists depending on the technical requirements of a customer.
