4 SUMMARY: Padre Dam Municipal Water District issued a Notice to Proceed on December 8, 2016 for the construction of the Eastern Service Area Secondary Connection Project. The construction duration is expected to last approximately 500 calendar days. Coordination with Helix Water District for November/December shutdown to connect to existing 48- inch Flume. Coordination with SDCWA for submittal reviews and QA/QC tests and inspections. Factory inspections of Water Authority Plunger Valve in Turkey and Germany and Monolithic Isolation Joints in Houston, Texas. MEETINGS Weekly Construction Progress Meetings: 9/7, 9/14, 9/21, 9/28. Other Meeting with PD staff, Filanc and the CM team to review the conduit layout for the Pump Station provided in Submittal SAFETY TUNNEL BORING PIT No safety issues were reported for work in September.
