2 Entrance gratings Weland manufactures entrance gratings for all imaginable entrances. Weland manufactures everything from large entrances in shopping centres to doors into small properties. Entrance gratings are made in three different versions. The three versions are pressure welded entrance gratings, type A entrance gratings and type AR1 entrance gratings. The majority of Weland's entrance gratings are kept in stock for immediate delivery. This provides you with easy planning and design. Weland also manufactures custom-made entrance gratings to meet your wishes. We can also offer complete total solutions for entrances using, for example, kerb angle frames, entrance gratings, anti-slip protection as well as dirt repellent mats. Entrance grating type A Type A entrance grating is our most common entrance grating and is suitable for most entrances. A classic grating that is constructed from flat bars running in both directions. Entrance gratings pressure welded Pressure welded entrance gratings are suitable for most entrances and are flexible when it comes to loads. 3 Entrance grating type AR1 Type AR1 entrance grating is a close-meshed entrance grating that is used when there are requirements for a very narrow mesh width. The entrance grating is constructed from flat bars running in both directions and provided with round bars to give a close-meshed pattern. Also available with scraper strip and rubber anti-slip strip. Kerb angle frames and freestanding frames Weland has a wide range of kerb angle frames and free-standing frames for entrance gratings. Many of the frames are also stocked for immediate delivery. Kåbe Original Entrance Mat The Kåbe Original Entrance Mat is an excellent complement to Weland's entrance gratings. 4 Entrance grating type A Type A entrance grating is suitable for most entrances. The grating is also aesthetically pleasing. As standard, the mesh widths are A22 x 22 and A33 x 11 mm. This model of entrance grating is also stocked in selected sizes and comes in hot dipped galvanised version, but it can also be manufactured to order in stainless steel. In addition to the entrance gratings in stock, Weland can manufacture type A entrance gratings to meet your needs and wishes. 5 Entrance gratings pressure welded Pressure welded entrance gratings are suitable for most entrances and are flexible when it comes to loads. This model meets the loading requirements, for example, for cars, snow ploughs etc. The entrance grating is manufactured in three different models with different mesh widths. Type B9 mesh width 12 x 100 mm Type N6 mesh width 17 x 75 mm Type N9 mesh width 16 x 100 mm As standard, all models come in hot dipped galvanised version. 6 Entrance grating type AR1 Free spanning entrance grating in hot dip galvanised steel. Suitable in all entrances where you want an almost self-servicing, dirt collection function in a deeper recess. The entrance grating is constructed from 3 mm flat bars running in both directions and comes with Ø 4 mm round bars to give a close-meshed pattern, mesh width see the relevant table. 8 Options Kerb angle frames and freestanding frames Weland has a wide range of kerb angle frames and free-standing frames for entrance gratings. Our entrance gratings are usually fitted with a frame for embedding all the way round or a supporting free-standing frame. This results in an automatic sand trap underneath. A solution that needs minimum maintenance. The ready-made frames for embedding, made from our L-profiles, are easy to assemble and can be ordered as separate parts or welded together in units. These frames are also stocked for immediate delivery. Our Z-profiles come in many standard sizes and are recommended for use together with our stocked entrance gratings. One major advantage of the Z-frames is that large entrance areas can be covered without the customer needing to embed fixing lugs or install other forged components. The frame is also available for embedding, if required. This profile is an integrated solution suitable for larger entrances. The Z-frame has a sophisticated design and is easy to assemble. Coupled with the entrance grating, this makes it a go-to solution for most entrances. BIM models are available for download from our website Extra anti-slip protection Weland has developed anti-slip protection in pressed stainless steel that can be pressed into place on the grate without any tools. The upper side has holes with upward pressed edges, providing very good anti-slip protection. The anti-slip protection is suitable for Weland s entrance gratings with mm height Entrance Mats Kåbe Original A well-designed entrance has entrance gratings on the outside and a good entrance mat on the inside. With its aggressive rubber curves, a Kåbe Original Mat acts like a windscreen wiper when you walk on the mat, without your feet making the wiping motions. The rubber curves efficiently wipe away dirt, gravel, dust and moisture from shoes. The first step towards a better indoor environment is to stop the dirt at the entrance.
