The various components of the suspension systems are always held in permanent stock. This enables us to supply you immediately with a series of standard products for renovation, refurbishment and interior furnishing projects in fact, for any situation where a metal ceiling needs to be installed rapidly. 6 Technology and properties Colour schemes The R System Series is available in all the colours of the RAL and NCS palette. Armstrong uses RAL 9010 Pure White as its standard colour. Building material class/ fire protection Sound absorption level α s Metal ceiling components and designs that are intended to form part of a fire protection structure must meet the requirements of DIN 4102 as well as country-specific standards and regulations. They will be pleased to assist you Perforation Rg 2516 with acoustic non-wovens Hz Acoustics The acoustic effect of suspended ceiling systems is often of central importance. Plain ceilings will reflect sound while perforated ones tend to be sound absorbent, depending on the design. We recommend the use of black, acoustic nonwovens as a sound-absorbing inlay for our ceiling tiles. Reverberation times, and consequently the sound level, can be reduced considerably in this way. Functional, intelligently designed acoustic solutions characterise every Armstrong metal ceiling: noise is absorbed where it could be distracting, while speech and sound is directed to where it is desired. Armstrong metal ceilings will colour the acoustic properties of a room in line with your specific requirements. Perforations Armstrong has subdivided the available perforations into groups, depending on the complexity of production. Further information can be found in the Perforations brochure.
