2 About us F-tronic - Installing innovation Innovation means renewal that advances through constant passionate development! We at F-tronic look ahead along this route while always keeping an eye on our roots. Innovation drives our concepts, and developments and breathes life into our designs. We offer you a range of almost 1000 high-quality products, some of which are very innovative and all of which are our own developments. How do we do it? Some highlights of our young history might explain: The company, established in 1990 by Winfried Fohs, focused on the development and production of electronic instrumentation and control circuits as well as on the development of new methods in non-destructive material testing of ceramics. In 1991 the product range was substantially extended by the acquisition of a plastic technology company. Since that time a small group of very well skilled and experienced developers is setting out to work, always on the search for better solutions. Thereby the developers neither recoil from new ideas and challenges nor from the optimization of existing products. The outputs are typical F- tronic products: trend-setting, innovative, and technically perfect and produced in the highest quality, so that craftsmen can install products innovatively. Careful selection of materials, high-tech pro- motivated staff members succeed in creating products according to your needs. Not as world market leader but as partner of trade and commerce. 3 TIE-Systems Thermally insulated Electrical Systems TIE-Systems For example, electrical switches, electrical sockets, lights, motion detectors, anemometers, cameras, alarms, spotlights and even satellite dishes can be used on these system elements. All TIE systems have a rectangular, right-angled form so the builder of the façade can easily mount his insulating boards around the system elements already used by the electrician without any gaps. The adaptation of individual installation elements to the insulation thickness of the façade can be easily achieved by an electrician with the reinforcements already used, each of which are 20mm. All TIE system elements are supplied in 2 basic sizes: mm and mm. TIE systems are newly developed, groundbreaking electrical installation elements for homogeneous, thermal-bridge-free compact building façades. The system elements comprise a component, such as a wall box, junction box, rawl plug for a wall lamp, or an additional highly insulated shell shaped like a rectangular block composed of polyurethane foam, EPS and Neopor. Thermally isolated electrical systems are cur- elements on the market for an insulated façade. TIE system elements make a considerable contribution to a homogeneous and thermalbridge-free building shell and are not disruptive foreign bodies in it. TIE system elements differ markedly from the installation elements previously used by other manufacturers in the following ways: 1. TIE elements are made from the same insulating materials as façade insulation 2. All TIE elements have the same insulation thickness and same insulation quality as façade insulation 3. All TIE elements are characterised by a generous mounting surface and high stability for various electrical installati ons on the insulated façade. If all electrical installations are conducted professionally with TIE system elements there will be no discolouration or condensation (and thus no fungal attack) on the façade. Professionally installed TIE systems allow a system guarantee in building shell insulation. 4 Communication distributor JUMBO Information and communications applications internet for multimedia applications (including telephony) an application-neutral communications cable system may be necessary. (DIN Part 2) F-tronic s communications distributor offers normative and pioneering technology for multimedia applications, e.g. telecommunications and broadband cable distributors in a cavity communications distributor is a criterion for electrical installations conducted in accordance with RAL-RG 678 and is thus the trade s business card for pioneering electrical installation technology. The spacer that is included allows vertical and horizontal side-by-side mounting, which means that communications distributors and circuit distributors can be easily combined. The thermal losses in the distributor are dissipated via the ventilation slots in the door. In addition to the Jumbo distributors, F-tronic offers the communications distributor in 3- and mounting and cavity-wall mounting. 4

5 Communication distributor JUMBO requirements of DIN to DIN At the same time it guarantees a high level of installation convenience and allows access to the hardware components at any time. The DIN rail mounted in the upper section serves e. g. the mounting of patch modules. The onto the plastic carrier plate and supplied with line voltage via the twin socket safety plug. 6 Flush-mounted installation Electrical boxes and installation housing boxes with lateral terminalspaces F-tronic is expanding its product range with an airtight electrical box and an installation housing box with lateral terminal spaces. Convenient under-surface airtight installation of electrical components. The airtight E550 electrical box with a depth of 65 mm is perfect for installing electrical components, e.g. EIB modules, relays and NV transformers whose height cannot exceed 48 mm. There is a unique opportunity to subsequently convert the electrical box into a distribution box using a 12 mm high plaster adjustment ring (item no. E130) on the pre-stamped front panel. Normative installation lation with new junction box The new E510 junction box with terminal spaces on both sides and M25 pipe connections offers excellent space for work on terminals and room when laying network and coaxial cables. of the cable manufacturer with regard to the bending radii to be complied with and the provision of the necessary terminal space. Both products are compatible with the sockets s and junction boxes using the M25 pipe connections. 6

7 Cavity wall installation Expansion of the cavity wall box product range F-tronic has also expanded the range of cavity wall boxes for the Austrian market by two solutions. A junction box with a diameter of 120mm is available on the market now. As well as the usual version with push-out openings, F-tronic has added an airtight version to its product range. F-tronic is expanding its range of products for Austria and the surrounding markets with this. Once again, F-tronic has underlined its leading role in windproof and airtight insulation hot topic in Austria. F-tronic delivers the necessary products with windproof and airtight insulation materials. The amendments to the Austrian Green Electricity Act and the implementation of the Austrian Climate and Energy Fund as well as the economic package on thermal insulation and various agreements regarding Art. 15a of the Austrian Federal Constitutional Law underline this for the long-term. Damp-area distributor IP55 In accordance with the motto take a good part the KVWD product series. A larger number of pre-stamped push-out openings in sizes M20 and M25 on the top and bottom side allow convenient introduction of wires and cables. The degree of protection IP55 is maintained by using the double membrane nipples included. The proven PE and N terminals from our JUM- BO and VISION series of small distributors are now also added to the KVWDs as standard. These can be variably mounted on the four plug sockets provided and offer very easy wiring due to their colour coding. The distributors can also be equipped with other terminals, if necessary. 7
