However they can also be matched to classic homes by selecting a colour that blends well with their surroundings. Our classic doors are treated with a clear oil to bring out the natural grain of the wood. Doors are available in either slatted finish or embellished with raised and fielded panels. Standard single or double sizes are readily available ex stock, while wooden doors can also be purpose built to specific sizes on request. It should be remembered that wooden garage doors require oiling 6 weeks after installation and then every three to four months thereafter. Keeping wooden doors oiled is as simple as booking a maintenance call with your local installer, or for those home handymen who prefer a do it yourself option, oiling kits are available from Digidoor branches nationwide. Digidoor Door In a Box Digidoor s Door in a Box concept was also created with the DIY enthusiast in mind - and has proved very popular since its fairly recent intoduction. Conveniently packed for easy storage and transportation, our Door in a Box includes door panels as well as all hardware required, including wooden jamb linings and a detailed set of instructions.

Made from 0.4mm Aluzink for superior corrosion resistance, our doors include a unique roll over lip built into the tracking, significantly improving wind-loading, which is a particularly important feature in areas where strong winds are common. (This also prevents thieves from bending the door open to obtain access to a garage - which can quite easily be done with cheaper doors.) Also standard on all Digidoor roll-up garage doors is a double-throw, high quality lock fitted with a 10mm round steel tube, which is far stronger than the flat bar commonly fitted to lower cost doors. In addition, our doors are fully encased when the door is closed, creating a more attractive appearance and even more importantly, resulting in a better child safety, a longer life cycle, greater reliability and the prevention of coning.
