Observatory: - Landscape: D+D and NUVS are in the process of reviewing the Colleges concern regarding the significant weed growth and unwanted population of plants that was observed by the College during the 11/16/15 site walk. Telescope: The College staff attempted to assemble the telescope in the Observatory on 12/03/15. During the assembly process, it was discovered that the telescope pier and foundation were not constructed in such a way that the mount would be pointing true north. In addition, the pier was not constructed as to align the optical tube to the center of the dome. Conflicting drawing #C007, detail A4/A644 and G6/A644 were found to be the cause for the inaccurate installation. As a result, D+D is in the process of developing new drawings with accurate asbuilt measurements to issue a CCD-A to DSA. The telescope was picked-up and relocated from the Observatory by the College on 12/15/15.
