1 BOOTH APPEARANCE All booths, regardless of size, must adhere to the Rules & Regulations put forth in this guide. Drapery backgrounds are 8 high, with side rails approximately 3 high. ID signs are approximately 7 X 44. Island booths will not be provided with drapery or signs and peninsula booths will be provided with one 8 high drape for their back wall and an ID sign. CANOPIES/CEILINGS The use or display of tents, awnings, canopies, and ceilings requires prior written approval from Show Management. Requests for approval must first be submitted to Show Management and be accompanied with a diagram of the exhibit design showing size, height, location, anchoring details and certification of flame retardancy for all materials. The Las Vegas Convention Center does not allow exhibitors to drill into the floor. Any covered area that is also enclosed, regardless of the size of the area, will require the installation of battery-operated smoke detectors that will emit an audible alarm that can be heard outside of the area. Please requests to Erika Ferrigno at success@catersource.com by January 21, EXPOSED WALLS All exposed parts of constructed displays must be finished to present an attractive appearance when viewed from the aisles and /or adjoining booths. Exposed back and side walls may not display copy, logos, graphics, or any other advertising or signage (island booths are exempt). Exhibitors using curved pop-up backdrops/displays will be required to provide side masking drape, at their own expense, if the curvature exposes the back scaffolding and/or electrical cords. HANGING SIGN INFORMATION All exhibit booth signs, banners, booth ceilings, canopies, lighting grids and other exhibit-related equipment should be free-standing and floor-supported. Attachment to exhibit hall ceiling beams or trusses is not permitted, except when approved by Show Management and the Las Vegas Convention Center Management. All hanging signs must be installed by Freeman. Approval for hanging signs will be considered for island booths (20 X 20 space or larger) only, provided the signs are not objectionable in content and there are no physical constraints at the facility. Maximum height of signage (booth presence) in Exhibit Halls is 20 feet. Requests for approval must be submitted in writing and accompanied by a description and drawing of the item(s) to be hung, location of hanging points, total weight of the item(s) and any other pertinent technical information.

Finally, submit the Hanging Sign Labor Order Form by January 21, All forms pertaining to this subject can be downloaded from Freeman online. HANGING SIGNAGE Definition: An exhibit component suspended above an ISLAND BOOTH. Use of Space: Permitted for ISLAND BOOTHS only. Signs/graphics must be hung over the booth and must not overlap the booth s perimeter. Hanging signs/graphics will be permitted at a maximum height of 20 feet (6.1m) from the floor. TWO-STORY EXHIBITS Any exhibitor considering a two-story booth design must a request for a two-story exhibit to Erika Ferrigno at success@catersource.com. The deadline to submit a request for a two-story exhibit is January 21, After the height request has been approved by Show Management, please submit to the Fire Marshal for an official approval on the overall booth design. Some size booths may require added fire watch security at the exhibitor s expense. CONFERENCE ROOMS To have an enclosed conference room in a standard in-line booth the company must purchase a minimum of 10 x 30 of booth space. The conference room can only be placed in the center of the booth space and should have transparent walls in order to not block the line of site to neighboring booths.

3 REQUEST TO EXCEED HEIGHT RESTRICTIONS & OTHER AMENDMENTS If you are interested in making variations to the standard rules and regulations regarding canopies or ceilings, exceeding height restrictions, having two-story structures and hanging signs, please follow the instructions below. Submit your request in writing. Be sure to include any pertinent information Show Management will need to make a full assessment of your request. Include detailed diagrams showing the design, canopy or height variances that you are requesting to include plan view, elevations, and dimensions. Do not submit an incomplete request. Any incomplete requests will not be reviewed. Please note that there is an additional form for requesting a hanging sign. your request to Erika Ferrigno at success@catersource.com by January 21, Two-story booths and booths with ceilings need to be submitted to the Las Vegas Convention Center after Show Management has approved the height of the booth. Plans submitted to the Center need to have an original engineers stamp. To insure that you do not incur additional costs (i.e. design cost or the tear down of an unapproved structure), please wait for Show Management s approval before beginning production or construction. Do not assume that a non-response to your request is an approval. Please follow up your request by ing Erika.Ferrigno@UBM.com. NOTE: PLEASE HAVE ALL CERTIFICATES OF FIREPROOFING AND STRUCTURAL DRAWINGS AVAILABLE ONSITE.

4 STANDARD INLINE BOOTH Definition: One or more standard booth units 10 x 10 in a straight line. Use of Space: Back wall of booth has a maximum heigh of 8ft (2.44m). Sides of booth have a maximum height of 4ft (1.22m). Displays within the booth are limited to 4ft in height in the front 5ft of the booth (shown as the grey portion in the illustration to the right. This area is referred to as the sightline. NO portion of your exhibit may exceeds 4ft in height within this area so as not to intererfere with the visibility of neighboring exhibitors.

5 ISLAND BOOTH Definition: An island booth space is made up of 400 square feet (37.16sqm) or larger and is exposed to aisles on all four sides with no pipe and drape walls or ID sign. Use of Space: 16 feet (4.88m) is the maximum height allowance. Depth: Full use of the footprint is permitted; however, the exhibit must remain accessible from all sides.

6 PENINSULA BOOTH Definition: An Inline booth placed as an end-cap on a aisle. Use of Space: Peninsula booths are generally 10ft (3.05m) deep by 20ft(6.10m) wide. The maximum back wall height allowed is 8ft (2.44m) and the maximum back-wall width allowedis 10ft (3.05m) at the center of the back-wall with a maximum 5ft (1.52m) height on the two sides aisles. Within 5ft of the 2 side aisles, the maximum height for any displays is 4ft (1.22m). The grey portion in the illustration to the left shows the area in which displays may not exceed 4ft in height. This area is referred to as the sightline. NO portion of your exhibit may exceeds 4ft in height within this area so as not to intererfere with the visibility of neighboring exhibitors.

7 PERIMETER BOOTH (L-SHAPE) Definition: An inline booth that backs to an outside wall of the exhibit facility rather than to another booth. Use of Space: All gudelines for inline booths apply to perimeter booths except that the typical maximum back wall height is 12ft (3.66m).

Written requests must be submitted to the LVCC at least 45 days prior to move-in and must include detailed plans showing size, height, location, anchoring details, and certification of flame retardancy for all materials. TWO-STORY EXHIBITS Any exhibitor considering a two-story booth design must a request for a two-story exhibit to Erika Ferrigno at success@catersource.com. After the height request has been approved by Show Management, please submit to the Fire Marshal for an official approval on the overall booth design. 9 CANOPIES, CEILINGS & MULTI STORY EXHIBITS NOTICE OF INTENT Deadline: January 21, 2018 MULTI-LEVEL AND/OR COVERED EXHIBITS NOTES All multiple-level exhibits and any single level exhibit over 1000 square feet or exceeding 300 square feet of contiguous covered area must submit a booth plan to the Las Vegas Convention Center Fire Prevention office for approval 45 days prior to the show. Plans must be submitted in.dwf,.dwg or.pdf format via to: Boothplans@lvcva.com Previously approved plans must be resubmitted each year. Multi-level or covered contiguous areas in excess of 1,000 square feet are required to have a fire sprinkler system installed by a Nevada State licensed fire sprinkler contractor under the entire area and every level of a multi-level exhibit only when the following conditions apply: ü The exhibit is used in an event where the duration is 7 calendar days or longer. ü The exhibit contains display vehicles. ü The exhibit contains open flame. ü The exhibit contains hot works. Any upper deck area to be occupied must have an approved plan with a State of Nevada engineered stamp. Multi-level areas that are greater than 300 square feet or which will occupy more than nine persons shall have at least two means of egress. Spiral stairways are not an approved means of egress. Multi-level, covered or roofed areas exceeding 300 square feet in size will require the installation of battery-operated smoke detectors that will emit an audible alarm that can be heard outside of the area. Any covered area that is also enclosed, regardless of the size of the area, will require the installation of battery-operated smoke detectors that will emit an audible alarm that can be heard outside of the area. Under certain circumstances the Fire Prevention Office may require a fire watch for an exhibit.
