3 About Us From offices in Hong Kong, Singapore and Shenzhen, GWP Engineering Limited (GWP) provides a straightforward approach for our clients wishing to procure structural steel, and other building materials. (For example, we can also supply Vitreous Enamel Panels). GWP is proud to be able to deliver value engineered steel products tailor made to our client s requirements. We are able to work in collaboration with our sister companies CEEK Limited (CEEK) and Pi Construction Limited (Pi) based in the same office building, to provide a design and construction capability to our clients whenever a comprehensive package of design, supply and erection is requested. CEEK is a design and engineering company established by the partners of GWP, CEEK and Pi. Led by John Clark who, over a period of 30 years working in Hong Kong and Singapore, has established a reputation as an imaginative and yet practical engineer. CEEK s primary expertise is in temporary works design and civil engineering structures. Pi is able to mobilize a skilled and experienced workforce able to meet the demands of most types of civil engineering projects. Their particular expertise is in the construction concrete structures, waterproofing and repairs, pre-stressing, design and erection of structural steel. Pi also works in partnership with specialist companies giving it the ability to match the services to the demands of their clients. 3

4 Steel Material GWP has established relationships with many steel suppliers and manufacturers in Northern and Eastern China. We have our corporate steel warehouse close to Shenzhen a convenient location for the transportation and shipping of our steel to our clients in Hong Kong and elsewhere. Through our relationship with steel suppliers, we are able to source and provide the materials required for steel fabrication according to the specification standards of our clients. We can ensure that the steel meets the required quality standards for each project. Structural steel is a flexible and versatile building material that can come in various shapes and sizes for many potential uses. A few standard shapes we commonly work with are shown below. Apart from these standard shapes, with modern technology it is increasingly a viable option to pursue custom metal fabrication to supply specialized structural steel for any type of project. 6 Production GWP has two cooperative steel manufacturing plants in Dongguan and Huizhou in Guangdong Province, China, with approximate land areas of 20,000 square meters and 38,000 square meters respectively. These two facilities have a combined monthly production capacity of 1,500 tonnes. Each facility is staffed with a skilled production team, QA/ QC staff and technical staff. Additionally, our engineers and technical personnel will ensure that there is informed planning and designing for the fabrication and delivery of our steel structures and products. Production Facility The manufacturing plants are well equipped with advanced machinery that allows for a smooth production process, while also having the flexibility to handle different types of structural steel projects including the fabrication of standard steel components and of custom steel structures. Trained and skilled workers and supervising engineers ensures that each step of production is done properly and that the final product fits within specification tolerances. The machinery includes computer numerical control (CNC) machining, which are able to automate processes according to computer aided design and programming, allowing for efficient and precise manufacturing particularly for large quantity components. One example is the plasma cutter that is able to cut through metals of varying strength with very high precision. The precision and quality of the CNC machining, together with non-cnc processes, such as welding, performed by skilled labour enables our clients engineers to achieve their dreams. CNC Machine 6

8 Structural Steel Fabrication With a 1,500-ton monthly production capacity, we can meet the demands of our clients on a stable schedule. Our comprehensive manufacturing capabilities includes Surface Cleaning, Cutting and Machining, Punching and Drilling, Straightening/Bending and Rolling, Fitting and Reaming, Finishing, Surface Treatment, Welded Connections etc. Our structural steel products can be found in Buildings, Factories, Plants and Foundations. In addition to supplying steel, we can also provide on-site support for the welding and erection of steelwork.
