Project No: HFX A0 Client Project No: MISC Project: MacAulay Sports Field Project Date: March 23, 2015 Addendum No: 2 The following information supplements and/or supersedes the bid documents. This Addendum forms part of the Contract Documents and is to be read, interpreted and coordinated with all other parts. The cost of all contained herein is to be included in the contract sum. The following revisions supersede the information contained in the original drawings and specifications issued for the above named project to the extent referenced and shall become part thereof. Acknowledge receipt of this Addendum by inserting its number on the Bid Form. Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Architectural 1. In the Specifications 1. Section Summary of Work 1. Add Removal of existing football goal posts and concrete supports and installation of new gooseneck goal posts supplied by Owner. Supply of new concrete post supports and rebar will be extra to the contract..2 Add Removal of existing scoreboard, steel support posts and concrete supports and reinstallation of steel support posts and scoreboard on new concrete base and footing. New concrete post supports, rebar and anchors will be extra to the contract as will rerouting/extension of conduit and power if required. 2. Section Proposal Form 1. Replace entire Section. 2. Proponents are encouraged to provide Alternate Pricing on the Proposal Form for materials/systems that are considered value added and that offer cost savings and/or performance enhancements to the specified artificial turf system. 3. Section Construction Facilities and Temporary Controls 1. Note: Designated Staging Area referred to in shall be gravel parking area within the Athletic Centre Future Expansion Area. Contractor is responsible for any costs related to securing the staging area with temporary fencing. 4. Section Metal Fabrications 1. Delete entire Section. Decorative Metal Railings will be supplied by Owner under separate contract. This contractor is responsible to coordinate and facilitate installation of handrails supplied and installed by others. 5. Section Site Grading 1. Note that excess topsoil stripped from the site shall be retained by the University. Refer to paragraph Section Artificial Turf Field Drainage 1. Add All work shall be completed in accordance with this specification, and the Town of Sackville Standard Municipal Specifications. The contractor is responsible for any permits and charges required to connect to municipal systems. 2. In delete with exterior wrapped geotextile filter sock installed by pipe manufacturer. 3. Note: Infill rubber can be either Cryogenically Ground SBR (Separate Price 6 Option 1) OR Ambient Ground SBR (Separate Price 7 Option 2). 2. Field marking colours shall be as noted in Pantone colours for logos referred to in are as follows: Garnet: Pantone 202 Gold: Pantone 118 Remaining colours for field markings can be from the manufacturer s standard range. 4. In 2.2.1, change Rubber Flex curb with drain trench to FLEXEDGE Rubber L Curb (or equivalent) to transition between Artificial Turf and asphalt vehicle access road. Supply complete with 450 mm anchor pins, Adhesive and UV top coat as per manufacturer s recommendations. 8. Section Chain Link Fence 1. In , change 8 gauge to 6 gauge. 2. Note: All components of chain link fence are to be black in colour to match chain link fabric. 9. Section Manholes and Catch Basin Structures 1. Replace as follows:.1 All work shall be completed in accordance with this specification, and the Town of Sackville Standard Municipal Specifications. Detail 2 Change reference to Rubber Curb with Trench Drain to Rubber L Curb. 2. Drawing 201 Materials and Layout Plan 1. Detail 2/201 Note: decorative metal railing mounted on top of segmented retaining wall at NW corner of field is NOT IN CONTRACT. 2. Section detail references through asphalt/rubber curb/turf should read 2/ Note: Approximate location of existing underground services are overlaid on Drawing 201 on attached sketch. Contractor to verify locations of underground services with Owner s electrician prior to commencing work.

4 MacAulay Sports Field Project Addendum#2 Page 2 The undersigned Proponent further agrees to provide all necessary equipment, tools, labour, incidentals and other means of construction to do all the Work and furnish all materials of the specified requirements which are necessary to complete the work in accordance with the contract and agrees to accept, therefore, as payment in full including all prime costs, allowances, (HST excluded) including all necessary trade permits, in accordance with above itemized documents for the following total stipulated Lump Sum Price. LUMP SUM PRICE All Work as described in drawings, contract documents and specifications: Dollar Amount - Write out in Full Total Figures Dollars.00 (HST excluded) Total Separate Prices: Should the owner decide to decrease the scope of work, the owner reserves the right to adjust the tender price accordingly using the following separate prices. Separate prices include all work, materials, related work and contractor s overhead and profit. Item Amount Separate Price #1: upcharge for supply and installation of center field A logo. Separate Price #2: upcharge for supply and installation of 2 custom end zone logos (one per end). Separate Price #3: supply of all necessary maintenance equipment and accessories required for routine maintenance and cleaning the Artificial Turf. Provide model numbers, description/cut sheet and cost for each item. Item#1: Item#2: Item#3: Item#4: Separate Price #4: supply and installation of segmented retaining wall complete with granular, geotextile, and drainage. Separate Price #5: supply and installation of asphalt surface for maintenance access road/running track.

5 MacAulay Sports Field Project Addendum#2 Page 3 Turf Infill Lump Sum Price shall include either Cryogenically Ground SBR infill (Option 1) OR Ambient Ground SBR infill (Option 2). If Proponents wish to provide pricing for additional infill materials, they can do so as an Alternative Price below. Separate Price #6: Option 1 - supply and installation of turf infill using Cryogenically Ground SBR rubber granules. Installed system must pass the requirements of FIFA 1 Star system when tested. OR Separate Price #7: Option 2 - supply and installation of turf infill using Ambient Ground SBR rubber granules. Installed system must pass the requirements of FIFA 1 Star system when tested. Separate Price #8: supply and installation of 1830 high chain link fence (black vinyl covered) complete with access gates as indicated. Alternate Prices: The following is a list of Alternate Prices and forms part of the Contract, upon the acceptance of any or all of the Alternate Prices. Proponents may provide pricing for alternate products/systems included in their Proposal Submission. The Alternate Prices stated are an Addition or a Deduction to the Proposal Price and do not include HST. These Unit Prices may be used in determining the value of a change and do not include HST. Item Amount Unit Price #1: Cost per lineal meter for line markings (installed) The undersigned Proponent hereby agrees not to revoke this Proposal until: a) Owner has entered into a Contract with another Contractor for the performance of the Work, as per Paragraph 1.15 Acceptance of Section Instruction to Proponents, or, b) Sixty (60) days after the time fixed in the Instructions to Proponents for receiving Proposals is expired, whichever occurs first; provided however that the Proponent may revoke his Proposal at any time before the time fixed in the Instructions to Proponents for receipt of Proposals has expired, upon receipt by Owner from the Proponent of written notice of such revocation before said time has expired. SECURITY FOR PROPOSAL Each Proponent shall submit with his Proposal either,.1 A Bid Bond from a recognized Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of New Brunswick in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the Bid, and Agreement to Bond in the form of a letter from a recognized Surety Company licensed to do business in the Province of New Brunswick, both issued in favour of Mount Allison University, or.2 A Certified Cheque from a recognized Canadian Chartered Bank in the amount of ten per cent (10%) of the bid amount, made payable to Mount Allison University.
