5 Hurley Emergency Exit Meldazy Emergency Exit Line 2 Extension From Kennedy Station to Scarborough Centre 6.2 km one-stop extension Replacement for aging Line 3 Scarborough Construction for the project begins late

6 Subway Depth: McCowan Road Road Level to Top of Tunnel 9 metres (30 feet) Road Level to Subway Track Level 17 metres (56 feet) Tunnel Diameter 12 metres (39 feet) 6

7 Emergency Exit Buildings There are currently 40 emergency exit buildings throughout Toronto and Vaughan for the TTC subway Emergency exits are used to safely move passengers from the subway train and tunnel in the event of an emergency at track level during operation Emergency exits located approximately every 762 metres apart Two emergency exit buildings are planned for this neighborhood and will connect underground to the subway tunnel 7

16 Protecting your home Surveys and Monitoring Building Monitoring Point Building Monitoring Sticker Before Construction: Pre-construction and utility surveys - Building inspection, photos and report (owners will receive a copy) During Construction: Building monitoring owners will be notified when readings will occur In addition, TTC will be performing ground movement monitoring along the whole alignment After Construction: Post construction survey checking for any damage due to tunneling 16
