If you are looking for well thought out products that meet the highest quality standards, the GABAG shower base is the right choice for you. There is a long list of strong selling points: GABAG sets new standards in soundproofing and that also applies to our shower bases, which meet the demanding requirements of SIA standard 181 for concrete base floors. Thanks to soundproofing feet that are continuously adjustable from above, it is easy to set the exact installed height that you want. Stable GABAG shower bases are wheelchair-accessible, and they feature a drainage channel on the wall side with an integrated gradient to prevent standing water. Last but not least, installing a GABAG shower base is an extremely simple and rapid job. 4 7 Ingeniously simple, and simply ingenious. GABAG shower bases with minimum installation heights are available in various standard sizes, and can also be made to measure on request. One way or another: when you choose GABAG, you are opting for maximum simplicity and perfection down to the last detail. GABAG shower bases are made of Gabanit, a functional material that is ideal for use in wet areas. It does not absorb moisture, is stable, does not shrink or rot, and is resistant to fungus. The drainage channel with its integrated gradient is easy to clean, and is already pre-installed in the shower base at the factory: clean and water-resistant. A flexible frame system is also pre-installed on the channel side to adapt to irregularities in the wall. GABAG 1.5% x y shower bases come in two or three sections, making it far easier to work on the joints and to check watertightness. A gradient of 1.5% is also integrated into the shower base. Final installation kit for the GABAG shower base Scope of delivery for the final installation kit The ingenious GABAG channel cover allows maximum flexibility until the building work is completed. And that's only one of a host of advantages. The choice of wall coverings is often left right until the end of the building work. Thanks to the GABAG channel cover, the GABAG shower base with the drainage channel can still be fitted in advance. The thickness of the wall covering (max. 30 mm) is easily compensated later on by the channel cover. Four versions of the high-grade polished stainless steel GABAG channel cover are available, to match the thickness of the wall covering. The final installation kit is delivered after the responsible individual has taken the measurements on site. Channel cover for the appropriate dimension The channel cover can easily be adjusted to the floor covering thanks to the height-adjustable rubberised channel base. The final installation kit also includes a specially developed drain filter to trap dirt and keep the siphon clean. The filter and the channel base can be removed from the drainage channel in seconds, so it is quick and easy to clean the drainage channel and the siphon without leaving any residues behind. 2 bases 1 base with filter GABAG tapered rail The tapered rail is one of the many innovations from GABAG that enable us to meet every possible requirement when it comes to design, function and safety. The tiler can easily fit the GABAG tapered rail (which has an integrated gradient of 1.5%) onto the shower base in the adhesive bed for the tiles, without affecting the seal. No interfaces are therefore created as regards sealing or structure-borne sound transmission to the fabric of the building.

Height Underfloor (dimension A) minus thickness of shower base (at the thickest point) gives the height of the foot (dimension B). Fit the soundproofing foot onto the footplate and adjust all the feet to the same height. Attach the drain body fully to the drainage channel connector Connect the drain body to the outflow pipe and check for tightness (avoid contact between the drain body and the floor). Place the shower base part on the channel part, and screw firmly together from above with the metal plate. If necessary, re-adjust the GABAG shower base from above. Retain the 1.5% gradient.
