2 2 General description The Spotlight lightube can be used for lighting of interior rooms which can not directly lighted with daylight by the window or normal skylights. Through the natural light tube the daylight can directed to the favored place, also about several meters. Overview of advantages: Ideal for natural illumination of interior rooms with no overhead lights or windows in the walls (e.g. bathrooms, offices, corridors) Energy savings due to a reduction in power consumption with artificial lighting Self-cleaning effect due to convex outer shell Very good yield of natural light, thanks to special diffusion panel under the outer dome With the different diffusers and the 3 diameters, the natural light spotlight can be adapted to suit the building and ceiling type Light reflection (> 98%) over the entire guiding surface, including elbow joints The incidence of light can be flexibly controlled by an optional natural light dimmer 5 heat-insulated upstand models to adapt to the building type and local roof structure (no wooden upstands necessary) Easy to join up with the roof cladding, due to the rectangular outer contour of the upstands Total U-value up to 1.4 W/m²K possible (in accordance with EN 1873:2014) Diffusor Version Home Suitable for solid and suspended ceilings. 10 10 Maintenance and care Through the curved form of the glazing, there appears a self-cleaning effect when it is raining, so that there is no regularly cleaning necessary. Therefore it is completely sufficient if the spotlight is cleaned once in a year from outside and inside. The glazing of a natural spotlight generally consists of plastic. It should be cleaned with a soft, clean cloth (or sponge) and a mild cleaning agent (e.g. ph-neutral soap or detergent). We recommend Burnus plastic cleaner (article no ). Then rinse well with clean water and dry with a soft, clean cloth. We recommend a subsequent anti-static treatment. On no account should aggressive cleaning agents containing lyes, alcohol or solvents be used. They could cause cracks in the plastic glazing. Grinding cleaners or hard plastic sponges, steel sponges or hard brushes must also be strictly avoided. They could irreparably scratch the glazing. Completely unsuitable cleaning agents include e.g.: Spirits or other forms of alcohol Benzine Acetone Paint thinners Insect remover Acidic cleaners Strongly alkaline cleaners Paint polishing compound Exclusion of liability No liability can be accepted for damages caused by the incorrect cleaning of the spotlight.
