9 Timber Frame Suitable for use with all timberframe builds, the system is fixed to the vented and weatherproofed structure. Timber battens at 400mm or 600mm centres Joint sealing tape (if required) Timber studs Breather membrane NOVABRIK INSTALLATION Installation Insulation Board can be installed on various types of structures and works hand-in-hand with modern methods of construction: Foundation supporting timber frame Timber frame construction Steel frame Concrete block walls or ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) Concrete Panel Systems Structural Insulated Panel (SIP) technology Insulated Panel Construction SV-starter track can be installed in all temperatures without the additional costs usually incurred with conventional masonry installations. 's dry build construction does not limit the number of courses which can be installed in a working day. also enables you to give an existing building a brand new look with minimal disruption as the product hangs on the wall, no foundation is required. Steel Frame Thermabrick System (see overleaf) Suitable for use with most steel frame designs, the system can be fixed directly to the steel frame or to additional supports within the weatherproof vented cavity. Combines which is fixed directly to selected insulated panel systems. Contact AG s Technical and Specification Dept. for further details. TM Installer Training Concrete Block ICF (Insulated Concrete Form) Ideal weatherproofed and vented external facade system for all traditional build projects. Cost effective, quick and easy to install - making a value engineered solution. The ideal solution for most commercial projects which use ICF or similar technology. s easy install and 60 years design lifespan make it the perfect solution for this type of construction AG offer installer training at our Sales Headquarters in Dungannon. 10 Kingspan Thermabrick Complete wall and facade system. can be fitted directly onto Kingspan Insulated Panels. This unique solution combines all the benefits of insulated panel construction, with the durability and aesthetics of a brick finish; without the need for foundations, mortar or expansion / control joints. Ideal for offices, student accomodation, retail, leisure, apartments and healthcare projects. NOVABRIK INSTALLATION Installation Retrofit is a simple solution to upgrading the aesthetics of an existing wall. requires no foundation and no mortar as it simply hangs on the structure and it is a very simple way to beautify drab walling. The before and after photos below show a retrofit completed in only 2 1/2 hours at our Toome yard. Before After The Thermabrick Solution 'Smarter not harder' Fitting directly onto Kingspan Insulated Panels couldn't be easier: No foundations needed as 'hang' on to the structure. No need for battens, as are fixed directly on to the panel. Eliminates the need for wet trades and is not weather dependent. Improves the impact resistance of the panel and helps protect it from damage in areas of high traffic. + Thermabrick used on a school in Birmingham Can be used up to 6.5m in height. Virtually maintenance free. Very low wastage. Fast and simple to install compared to conventional brick and masonry. A range of colours and blends to choose from Split gables don't require a structural support underneath Gives a 'brick' aesthetic to secure inner city planning approvals.

11 Corner Details CORNER DETAILS Raised Corner Detail Easy-to-install raised corner detail fixed to the external track system. Customers often use a contrasting colour to make a 'corner-stone' style feature with it. AG also provide plinth blocks in various colours and finishes to help transition from subfloor to. This is especially helpful when dealing with changes in ground level. Alternate 90º External Corner Detail A stainless steel / powder coated metal corner can be used as an alternative to the normal 'raised corner detail' shown above. Transitioning from to Render... or any other finish is easily achieved. AG have an extensive library of CAD details available on request. Profiled Corner Detail Ideal value engineered solution for most commercial projects. The unique internal detail is the result of an easily installed treated powder coated, galvanised metal trim - available in a full range of colours. (Canada) where the product has been used extensively for over 20 years. AG has applied to the British Board of Agrément (BBA) for Certification. AG is a member of the RIBA and RIAI CPD Providers Network and in-house presentations can be undertaken, by prior arrangement. AG is a member of the NBS Plus Service. See each product page for NBS specifications. Product Inspection All bricks should be carefully inspected for defects or damage upon delivery and prior to being built. AG deem up to 5% (the industry norm) can be expected during transport and site handling - these can be used for cuts and detailing. Above 5% should be set aside for inspection by an AG representative. Colour Blending All products are manufactured from natural materials and although we strive to provide consistency of colour, variation may occur in the manufacturing process this applies to all concrete products within the industry. When purchasing products AG recommend that packs are selected from the same manufacturing DOP (date of production). Products should then be mixed on site from a minimum of 3 packs, within each delivery, to help reduce the effect of banding. Example: When building a one-off unit, it is recommended that the products used solely for this unit are selected from the same DOP (or as close as possible). NB. products which have been installed for a period of time will weather naturally, so the colour of any new products when compared will inevitably vary. Efflorescence The most common form of efflorescence on brick is a result of Soluble Salt, which is not present in the AG brick range, when built in accordance with the relevant British Standard and NHBC technical guidelines. NB. As these products contain cement they may suffer from the temporary phenomenon of efflorescence. This is in no way detrimental to their performance characteristics and is common in all good quality products with a high cement content. Time should be given for all products to weather in, when they will at this stage look their best. Installation All products should be installed in accordance with the latest British Standard and NHBC technical guidelines. Ordering Minimum order quantities are required for certain colours and sizes. Before placing an order, please speak to one of our sales team members they ll be happy to advise on this and any other product questions you may have.
