Architects who are empanelled in SBI in Rs.100Lakhs and above category for civil works are eligible to apply. 2.The Architect has to provide their id, contact nos. and postal address in the bid documents. Henceforth, all official communication form bank shall be through and SMS also. 3.The bank reserves the right to cancel or postpone or modify the tenders at any stage without assigning any reason. The bank has right to add or remove the contents in the application till one day before last date of application by way of corrigendum. 4.Though a fee structure approved by the Bank and communicated to all the Architects earlier, it has now been decided to call competitive quote for rendering the services of the Architects on project to project basis. 5.If the last date for receipt/opening of tender happens to be holiday the tenders will be received/opened on next working day. 4 THE BRIEF SCOPE OF THE WORK FOR ARCHITECTURAL/CONSULTANCY SERVICES FOR RETROFITTING/STRUCTURAL STABILITY WORK OF GUDIVADA BRANCH The project is Retrofitting/Structural Stability/Repair works of Gudivada Branch for which consultancy and supervision services are required. Inspection of Gudivada Branch along with Structural Engineer(approximate area sq.m. in Ground Floor and sq.m in First Floor) study/observation of the building. Preparation of existing plan. Submission of report. Study the Structural Health Assessment(NDT) report with the help of Structural Engineer, which was already carried out and suggest the further course of action. Recommending the type/methods/techniques of Retrofitting/Structural Repair works to be carried out. Water proofing with suitable method to arrest leakage/dampness. Compound wall construction. Proper external storm water drainage system. Any related works. Architect has to appoint a fully qualified/licensed Structural Engineer/Consultant and the quoted fee should be inclusive of this consultant s fee. The final scope of work should be discussed with Bank official. Preparation of preliminary estimate and getting bank s approval. Preparation of detailed Drawings and Estimates for all works. Preparation of e-tender documents(technical bid and price bid), Bill of quantities, specification, tender notice etc. and submission of Hard copies and soft copies. Rate analysis for major items supported by quotations(should be submitted along with estimate). Evaluation of the bids and Preparation of comparative statement of the tenders and submit their recommendations. Supervision of Work. Engaging a full time site Supervisor till completion of work(fees should be inclusive of Site supervisor s salary). Periodical visit to the site by the Structural Engineer/Main Architect for ensuring the quality of the work and to check whether the work is carried out as per drawings and specifications. Checking and Certifying Contractor s Running and final Bills. Architect has to enter into agreement on Rs.200/- stamp paper in the prescribed format containing terms and conditions etc. Co-Ordination and regular follow-up with all agencies involved in the project from time to time. Architects who are empanelled in Rs.100Lakhs and above category for civil works only eligible to apply. THE TIME LINES TO BE ADHERED FOR THE PROJECT IS AS UNDER: Description Preparation of Site inspection report, study of NDT test report, suggestion on technique of retrofitting work along with other works, preliminary estimate. Preparation of detailed estimates Preparation Tender documents Inviting, finalization of tenders including evaluation of tenders Time 20 Days 7 Days 4 Days 30 Days TIME LINES TO BE STRICTLY ADHERED.THEPROJECT TO BE COMPLETED IN TIME BOUND MANNAER. 5 The mode of payment of fee is as under: Mode of Payments: S.N % Of the total agreed Stage fees on total cost of related work/project % After completion of plan, site inspection report, study on NDT report, suggestion on technique of retrofitting work along with other works, preliminary estimate, and their approval by the Bank % After completion of working drawings & detailed estimates to the satisfaction of the bank including Architectural & structural drawing & all drawings pertaining to the various specialist services & their approval pertaining to the various trades After preparation of contract/tender documents including tenders, issue of tender notices in respect of all trades, evaluation of tenders received and submission of recommendations to the Bank and execution of the contract documents for various trades % During the progress of construction/work and in proportion to the value of the said works as certified from time to time and paid by the Bank % On final completion of the project & closing of accounts % After the ACF issue No objection certificate for the Refund of contractors retention money on expiry of Defects liability period(one year) of the various contractors and/ or attending to the CTE s / CVO s observations, if any, from time to time till its final disposal and award of arbitration, if any, whichever is later. 100 % Total Note: In case of outstation firms, in addition to the professional fees payable to the appointed Architect, the reasonable traveling allowances (as per actual expenditure incurred subject to bank guidelines) and halting allowances are also paid to the senior partners/associates of the firm of Architects and their Junior staff/ associates. In case the site of work is located in the same city (Architects head quarters), Halting and traveling expenses shall not be paid. The scale of halting allowance payable to the senior partners/associates of the firm of Architects and their junior staff/associates is as per Bank policies. In case, this agreement is terminated, fees shall be paid to the architects for the actual services rendered as per stages referred to in this clause and subject to other provisions about recoveries etc, as provided for elsewhere in this agreement. Please note that the fee quoted should be inclusive of Structural Engineer s/consultant s fee, Site Supervisor Remuneration (till completion of work) Architect shall visit the site to ascertain the working conditions and local authority regulations / restrictions if any and other information required for the proper planning/execution of the work. Interested architects may submit their tender for rendering their services for the above said project as per the Performa enclosed on or before up to 3.00PM. The tenders will be opened on the same day at 4.00PM. Rate analysis for major items supported by quotations(should be submitted along with estimate).
