8 15 14 Material with character, perfect down to the last detail. The public face and hence the character of a company is strongly impacted by the materials used to create its identity. When designing properties within corporate chains, investors primarily select solutions that are long-term, affordable and ecological. Coil coated aluminium meets all of these requirements perfectly, through its durability and its weather resistance, without requiring special treatments. Aluminium material also underlines a company s premium quality and in terms of processing options, it possesses many advantages. Reynobond Reynobond is a composite panel consisting of two coil-coated aluminium sheets permanently bonded to an extruded thermoplastic compound core material. It is notable for its very low expansion coeffi cient and simple processing characteristics; it also offers high shock resistance. A Reynobond panel weighs 3.4 times less than steel and 1.6 times less than pure aluminium, whilst retaining the characteristically high levels of rigidity of these materials. Reynobond also provides a superior level of fl atness, which is particularly important for largesurface applications. Reynolux This has led to an increasing implementation of aluminium or aluminium composite panels. Aluminium has won hearts and minds not just through its low cost. Its low weight, simple processing and easy care are only a few of the many benefi ts it offers. Reynolux is a coil-coated aluminium sheet achieved through continuous coil coating process allowing the application of one or more paint layers. The easy processing of this material allows the creation of novel shapes with brilliant colours. The outstanding physical and chemical characteristics of the paints also lend Reynolux an extraordinary protection against UV rays and weathering. The optimal adherence by paints allows the coil-coated material to be shaped in a variety of ways. Depending on the specifi c design and budget requirements, Reynobond and Reynolux can be combined without problem.

It is probably the expressive qualities (primarily of color but also of shape) that spontaneously affect the passively receiving mind, whereas the tectonic structure of pattern (characteristic of shape, but found also in color) engages the actively organizing mind. 1 High quality coatings Reynobond and Reynolux can fundamentally be acquired with myriad potential coatings. 14 27 26 A uniform public face, everywhere in the world. A brand must present itself uniformly over space and time. That means: brand signalisation must be consistent everywhere in the world and retain that harmony. When selecting colours and materials, it is therefore particularly important to avoid degradation of colours through weathering factors. Fading and colour streaks lead either to increased replacement costs or to a distortion of the brand image. Stripe Coating The stripe coating processes used by Alcoa Architectural Products allow for two or more colours to be directly coil-coated. This minimises working time and material costs by eliminating expensive films and expensive post-processing of materials. The coil-coated colours are also much more weather resistant. Depending on the specific composition of the project in terms of materials, environment conditions, etc, we guarantee our products for up 10 years. Coil-coated aluminium meets all of these requirements. It needs no touching-up and requires only minimal care occasional cleaning is sufficient.
