Filling vent shafts Filling culverts Filling disused pipelines, conduits, tank decommisioning Filling cavities beneath pavements, bridges, embankments, mineshafts Stabilizing and lifting of subsided floors Customized solutions for specific projects Since 1984

Solutions for : filling of various types of voids with different objectives : Culverts Vent shafts Viaducts / bridge abutments / run-off slabs (Very) Big cavities Tunnels Monumental buildings Mineshafts Quay walls / sea walls / waterfronts. Sewage pipes - inactivated sewage systems Other lines including water pipes, gas, fire direction systems Recovery fillings / renovation Grouting and correcting subsided floors in homes, offices and commercial buildings. Often without noticeable disruption of the business.

Bacel, a multi-purpose, super-lightweight, engineering filler grout, is a unique, pre-expanded structural resin. It is produced on-site from a liquid base, with the raw materials generating many times their own volume of Bacel, thus avoiding numerous deliveries to site. Bacel foam is a foamed aminoplast resin which is produced in a sustainable production environment in our own factory and environmentally friendly applied in civil engineering projects. The synthetic resin is foamed with water and has at the processing date a minimum compression strength of 80 kpa. (Depending on the density used). Aging, this compressive strength will only increase! Bacel foam is produced on work location. It has a very short curing time, and can also be applied under water. It is environmentally friendly, noncombustible, rot-proof and resistant to inorganic solvents. The composition of the foam combined with the working process Bacel foam is ideal for filling drains and pipes, repairing and stabilizing subsidence and washouts in land packages that often cause much inconvenience, and where traditional repairs are often very expensive or even impossible.

Bacel hard foam is made at work location and applied directly. This means that you can work with a relatively light truck (city trailer). The truck contains the raw material only (resin & hardener): with liters of resin mixture approximately liters of hard foam is made. This means a huge logistical advantage and a very short working time on the job site. Bacel hard foam has a very low weight (100 kg / m3 applied weight) despite the high compressive strength. This means great advantages in many applications. Bacel hard foam can be produced in various densities tailored to the specific application. Low density for only fill without special demands on the strength, high density for heavy duty applications. Despite the enormous possibilities still very cost effective!

General Water-based resin No effect on global warming No effect on ground water Non flammable Recyclable and/or compostable under specific composting circumstances (high temp & bacteria) Mechanically relatively easily removable and re-used in agricultural applications. (Resins Agro BV) Biological facts Under specific conditions - (prolonged high temperatures combined with composting bacteria) degradable, dm 5% /yearly. (LUW report available) Reuse possible in agriculture and Horticulture. In the civil engineering / industrial applications and the absence of the above factors, a lifespan of over 150 years.

For lifting / under filling of floors small holes will be drilled through the floor in a predetermined pattern where a temporary filler plug is applied. The Bacel hard foam will be pumped through those plugs direct under the floor and will spread out and fill all cavities. This is the stabilization process of a floor. Once this is done, the floor will be very gradually lifted when necessary of course. By using laser equipment the whole process is monitored accurate and the requested correction will be achieved. Finally the filler plugs are removed and the holes closed. In many cases the goods or equipment present in the building does not need to be removed and the stabilization and lifting will hardly be affect the operations of the customer. If the subsoil is stable this is long lasting solution!
