4 Refresher - Work at Height Work in any place where a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury: Working above ground/floor level; Could fall from an edge though an opening or fragile roof; Could fall from ground level into an opening in the floor or a hole in the ground.

5 QCS Section 11: Health and Safety Part 1.03: Working at Heights 'Work at height' means work in any place, including a place at or below ground level, along with access there to and egress there from (except by a staircase in a permanent workplace) where, if the measures required by these Regulations were not taken, a person could fall a distance liable to cause personal injury.

6 Refresher Safe Work at Height All work at height is properly planned and organised; Those involved in work at height are competent; The risks of work at height are assessed, and appropriate work equipment is selected and used; The risks of working near or on fragile surfaces are properly managed; The equipment used for work at height is inspected and maintained.

17 Section 11: Health and Safety Part 1.03: Working at Heights PASMA has developed two methods of installing guardrails that do not require the erector to stand on a working platform until the guardrail frames have been installed: (a) advanced guardrail system; (b) through-the-trap (3T method; These methods should be adopted by Contractors as best industry practice in Qatar.

18 AGR The advanced guard-rail system involves the use of specially manufactured, hinged guardrail frames that can be raised and slotted into position from below.
