Point hole with grout or pointing mortar prior to pointing joints and installing metal cap. 2. Includes removing any spalled or broken brick; replace with new brick matching size and color of existing. Set in fresh bed of Type N mortar; Match existing color and profile. 1. Includes inspect existing sealant joints around all windows, doors, louvers, or other masonry penetration. Remove deteriorated or defective sealant materials. Clean joint; install backer rod and sealant matching adjacent mortar joints. 1. Base Bid Includes: 1,800 L.F.: ADD/DEDUCT. H. Sealant joints at all wash surfaces of stone: By the linear foot. Includes cut back existing stone wash surface mortar joints 3/4" minimum depth, 1" maximum depth. Clean debris with compressed air and pressurized water. Repoint with mortar to within 3/8" of the surface of the stone. Install bond breaker tape; apply polyurethane sealant. 1. Base Bid Includes:300 L.F.: ADD/DEDUCT. I. Replace steel lintels in stone: By the linear foot. Includes removing existing stone, minimum 12" above lintel, or a distance required to remove and replace lintel.
