3 The contribution invested in the Holding Fund is EUR 227 mln. (784 mln. Lt) it consists of: European Regional Development fund (EUR 127 mln.) National funding (EUR 100 mln.) Funds allocated by comercial banks (~EUR mln.)? Long-term loans with fixed interest rate till 3 %

4 Legal acts are prepared: - The Law on the State Support for the Acquisition or Rent of Housing and for the Renovation (Modernization) of Multifamily Buildings of the Republic of Lithuania (17 July 2009) - Resolution No of the Government of the Republic of Lithuania regarding the Approval of the Program for the Renovation and Modernization of Multifamily Buildings of 23 September 2004 (20 September 2009)

5 Now under preparation: - The Description of the Procedure for the Preparation of Renovation (Modernization) Projects of Multifamily Buildings - The Rules of State Support Under the preparation wide public information campaign (will start at November)

6 EIB (European Investment Bank) according to the agreement with Lithuanian Government: preparing tender documents for the selection of comercial banks providing additional support with preparation legal ant technical procedure Expected that Modernization of multi-family buildings program with JESSICA instrument will start in November

7 50 % support for technical documentation preparation and for supervision costs if no lower than D class (according to Energy Performance Certificate classification) will be achieved 15 % support for energy efficiency measures implementation if C class (according to Energy Performance Certificate classification) will be achieved 100 % support for low income families

8 Heating and hot water systems modernization Windows and exterior doors replacement Roof insulation Insulation of external walls Glazing of balconies Alternative energy sources (sun, wind, etc.) installiation

9 It is planned to refurbish houses, by the year 2020 After the refurbishment average energy savings for a single house are accumulated to be approximately 50 % or 125 MWh a year (in total - ~ 3 TWh).

13 Major part of investments (60,4 %) for the project implementation goes to external walls insulation and 10,6 % - for windows replacement. - Average investment for one apartment ~ ( Lt) - Average expenses for 1 m² heated area ~ 107 (370 Lt) - Average investment for refurbishment of 1 multi-familly building ~ ( 1 mln. Lt)
