We will submit Bank Guarantee in lieu of cash retention and hence cash should not be deducted from our Running Bills. Measurement for all ancillary jobs like ducting, piping, insulation and cabling shall be as per IS. Minimum measurable area for payment of each air terminal units like grills, diffusers, dampers etc. shall be 0.1m 2 Measurement for any ancillary jobs like ducting, piping, insulation and cabling shall be on actual work done basis We would request you to kindly provide us the power and water required for installation, testing and commissioning free of cost at site All masonry and builders work such as provision of suitable plant area with weather protection, foundations for chilling units, pumps, M.C.C., cooling tower & other empty being covered under the present scope of work and brick pedestals for supports of pipes. Breaking and making good of holes in structures for passage of pipes, cables, ducts etc. is excluded from our present scope of work. We will place & grout equipment on foundations and plaster finish all holes. However, rewater proofing, if any, and repainting to match, will be done by the customer. All Carpentry work such as provision of enclosures from system components (with sound proofing if required) shall be excluded from our present scope of work. We would request you to provide us the lockable storage space for storage and site office Construction of plant room is not included in the scope of work of the bidder. However, breaking and making good of holes in wall/ structures for passage of pipes, cables, ducts etc. are under the scope of the bidder. Carpentry work is not included in the scope of the bidder. 2 14 We would request you to kindly accept the following: " Any upper or lower variation in quantity (Upto + 10%) will be adjusted as per our quoted unit rate. The total contract value can be subjected to a variation of -10% to + above mentioned limit, client will give escalation/ additional compensation for such variation" From the Tender Document we understand that our price is inclusive of Custom Duty (On imported items if any), Excise Dute, CST, Entry Tax, VAT on Supply portion and service tax on labour portion. Any increase in taxes, duties, levies etc. imposed by any state or Central Government or local authority or any other body or any fresh levies imposed by any such authorities after the date of submission of offer which sall impact the rendering of work in relation to the said contract for any reason whatsoever shall be paid/borne by the customer. Refer Clause No. 15 & 16 page 24 & 25 of GCC, Please accept escalation beyond the contractual completion period as per RBI/any other relevant price index. Refer Clause No. 17 page 25 of GCC, Kindly note that insurance for the Project shall be taken by us to the Project handing over period. Once its handed over to you it becomes your property and you shall be liable to take insurance of your Project. Our insurance policy will not be in force during the defect liability period. Refer Clause No. 44 page 36 of GCC, Provide power and water required for installation, testing and commissioning free of cost at site near our area of work. Refer Clause No. 72 page 50 & 51 of GCC, Limit the compensation delay to 0.5% per week of delay subject to maximum 5% of the total contract value. Refer Clause No. 76 page 58 of GCC, In case of any dispute or difference arising out of this contract the same shall be reffered to arbitration by panel of three Arbitrators, one each to be appointed by either party or the third by the two Arbitrators so appointed. The provisions of the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996 shall apply to such Arbitration and also exception under arbitration clause is not applicable. Kindly note that all matters in the said contract shall have recourse to arbitration proceedings. Arbitration shall be held in Kolkata. Refer Clause No. 11 of ACC, Considering the extent of work involved, request you to kindly accept completion period of atleast 8 months from the date of LOI/ Order. Refer Clause 14.1 of ACC, Request you to kindly accept the following term of payment: 1. 80% of the item wise rate will be paid to us against supply of material on pro-rata basis % of the item wise rate will be paid to us against installation of material on pro-rata basis % of the contract value shall be paid to us on commissioning and handling over of the HVAC system.

3 Refer clause no. 15 of ACC, Kindly note that all RA bill payments shall be made to us within 30 days from the date of submission of invoice, else 27 we shall not be able to continue to render our services and the delay in Project Completion Schedule due to non-payment of bills shall be to Clients account. 28 Refer Clause no. 21&22 of ACC is not applicable to us, since we are not civil contractors. 29 Refer Clause no. 21&22 of ACC, we once again reiterate that we are HVAC contractors and not civil contractors. We shall not be able to provide the facilities mentioned in this clause to EPI.

Ball Valve only for the FCU. 2 Referring BOQ item no. 9 of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the detail specification of PVC pipes required for the drain piping. We would Insulation has not been considered on the drain line. also request you to kindly confirm whether the PVC pipe using for drain will be insulated or not. In case insulation is required for the drain piping kindly confirm the insulation material type, thickness and finishing required. 3 Referring BOQ item no. 10 of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the design wet Bulb temperature required for cooling tower selection Design Wet Bulb shall be considered 28.3 Deg C for Cooling Tower Design Referring BOQ item no. 11 of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the MS pipe material thickness for 200mm & above diameter pipe and class of pipe for 150mm & below diameter pipe. BOQ says "6mm thickness for 200mm & above diameter pipe and medium class pipe upto 150mm diameter". But specification says (Page 32 of 77 of 2961_merged_Vol_II_1050) "6.35mm thickness for 200mm & above Diameter pipe and C(heavy) class pipe upto 150mm diameter". Referring BOQ item no of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the dial size of industrial thermometer. Referring BOQ item no of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the number of Fusible Link required for Fire Damper. Referring BOQ item no. 22 of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, we would request you to kindly delete the water proofing and heat resisting treatment on the top surface of entire roof from our scope of work. This item is purely civil related item. Dial size shall be 100mm for Industrial Thermometer Fire Dampers shall be with Single Fusible Link. Bidder should quote for this item Referring BOQ item no of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, plant room electrical panel shall consist of 4 nos. outgoing feeders for chiller, 5 nos. S/D starter for chilled water pumps, 5 nos. S/D starter for condenser water pumps, 4 water pumps are 4 nos. (3W+1S), condenser water pumps are 4 nos. (3W+1S) & cooling towers are 3 nos. (3W). kindly confirm the same. Referring BOQ item no , & of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the approved makes for the Ball Valve. We would request you to kindly incorporate the names of "KITZ" for Ball Valve in the approved make list. Referring BOQ item no of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the approved makes for the Ball Valve set (2 Nos. Ball Valve & 1 no. Y Strainer). We would request you to kindly incorporate the names of "Rapid Control" for Ball Valve in the approved make list. BOQ description is OK. Extra one complete set (1 No. Chilling pkg, 1 No. Condenser Water Pump, 1 Nos. chilled Water Pump & 1 No. Cooling Tower) has been taken into consideration for future expansion. Water Line Ball Valve make shall be of Audco/ L&T/ Leader/ Sant make. Ball valves for FCUs shall be Rapid control/ Sant/ VB make. Referring BOQ item no. 9 of 2961_merged_Vol_III_1050, kindly confirm the Bidder can consider any ISI approved make. approved makes for the PVC Pipes. We would request you to kindly incorporate the following makes for this tender:- a) Water Circulating Centrifugal Pumps - XYLEM (ITT) The bidder shall consider the approved make only b) Air handling Unit - Waves The bidder shall consider the approved make only c) Fan coil Unit - Waves/Caryaire The bidder shall consider the approved make only d) Expanded Polystyrene - Styrene Packings/ Thermowell/ Astha Polymar Astha Polymar is added as additional make.

Pipe thickness for MS 'C' class pipe size upto 150mm NB and below shall be as per IS: mm thickness pipe is a non-standard item. 2. IN BOQ item no. 11 the thickness for pipe size 200mm and above is written as 6mm thick which contradicts with the technical specification Refer NIT-2, Section-1, Scope of work & BOQ item no-22 Roof Insulation- This is to inform you that this is not a part of HVAC system and it belongs to Bidder should quote for this item. civil work. Hence, we request you to please waive this work from our scope of work and get it done through from civil. Refer NIT-2, Scope of work & BOQ item no-10- Cooling tower inlet and outlet temperature is mentioned in the tender. We request you to kindly provide design wet bulb temperature and water flow rate for designing the cooling tower as required for this Project. Refer NIT-2, Scope of work- Apart from the main MCC panel we request you to please provide adequate 415 V, 3 phase, 4 wire, 50 HZ electrical power supply up to AHU starter panel at individual floor. Please arrange to provide 215 V, 1 ph, 50 HZ power supply nearer to each fan coil unit. BOQ item no It has been envisazed that 72 nos. of FCUs are required for this Project. Since, 2 nos. of ball Valve (1 Set) is required for each FCU hence, total no of ball Valve required for this Project should be 144 nos (72 no ball Valve with strainer + 72 no ball Valve without strainer) instead of 72 nos. as stipulated in this BOQ item. Request you to please clarify. Vendor to consider Design Ambient Wet Bulb temperature 28.3 Deg C and Cooling Tower Water flow Rate 5250 LPM for designinf the cooling tower. In each FCU Coil connection there shall be 1 no. Inlet Ball Valve with strainer, 1 No. Outlet Ball Valve without strainer & necessary interconnecting copper piping. As mentioned in BOQ S.No total 72 Nos. of such sets shall be required for Coil connection of 72 Nos. Fan Coil Units.
