And falls under Category- B (Subcategory B2), as per Environment (Protection) Rules, 1986, vide number S.O (E), dated 15th Jan, 2016,) the applicant is seeking prior environmental clearance less than 5.0 ha from DEIAA of concerning District. The Project Site is located at from Gata No.- 849,850 & 1078 at Village- Chandaunhan, Tehsil -Phulpur, District-Allahabaad, Uttar Pradesh. INTRODUCTION 2.1 Identification of Project and Project Proponent The soil will be excavated from proposed project site. Area Mineral Status of Mine ha & Acres Brick Clay Fresh application for Environmental Clearance for Excavation of soil. 2.2 Brief description of the nature of the project The proposed project is mine brick clay from above mentioned plots sustainably and scientifically. Mining will be opencast and manual as per mining rules keeping all the nearby plots unaffected. Following geo-scientific methods are proposed carry out the activity: Mining will be confined extraction of Brick Clay in its existing form, from their allotted plots only. Mining of Brick Clay from their allotted plot (s) will be restricted a maximum depth of 1.5m from the surface. No drilling and blasting is proposed. In order avoid environmental pollution or any accidental hazards, the mining activity will be restricted daytime only. 5 Page 5 The proposed land is undulated land. To make the land flat suitable for agriculture, the excavated soil from the undulated land would be used for commercial purpose. The excavation work will provide employment the local labours. 2.4 Demands-Supply Gap Brick Clay has become a very important mineral for the manufacturing of Bricks which contributes the expansion of infrastructure in the society. With the increase of urbanization the demand for Bricks is growing in infrastructure secr in our country. Individual and private companies are increasingly demanding Brick for construction purposes and this has immense pressure on brick clay resources. This increasing demand and extraction makes this an environmental issue. 2.5 Domestic/ Export Markets Due the increased industrial and infrastructural growth of the rural and urban areas demand of Brick is very high. Construction companies and local vendors in the nearby wn and cities are the potential market for the brick made up of brick clay. 2.6 Employment Generation The proposed project will generate direct /indirect employment the people of all class of society. During the operational phase not more than 25 semi skilled and non skilled workers will be hired. The contracrs will get the direct or indirect benefit from the project activity. 3.0 PROJECT DESCRIPTION Type of project including interlinked and interdependent projects, if any This is a new mining project. The proposed project is for the extraction of Brick Clay from the allotted plot(s) manually. 3.2 Location (map showing general location and project boundary and project site) with coordinates. Size or magnitude of operation The proposed excavation area is ha & Acres. The tal excavated Brick clay would be bricks per season and tal mineable reserve is cu.mtr. 3.5 Project description with process details

7 Page 7 The proposed project is mine Brick Clay from plot(s) under agreement sustainably and scientifically. Mining will be opencast and manual along the plot(s) keeping the nearby plot(s) unaffected. Following geo-scientific methods are proposed carry out the activity: Mining will be confined extraction of Brick Clay in its existing form from the allotted plot(s) only. Mining of Brick Clay from the allotted plot(s) will be restricted a maximum depth of 1.5m from the surface in proper bench form as per MCR No drilling and blasting is proposed. Approximately cum or bricks per year minor mineral will be extracted. No mining activity will be undertaken during the monsoon season. In order avoid environmental pollution or any accidental hazards, the mining activity will be restricted daytime only. The operation will remain manual, using ols like shovel, spade, sieve etc. During the agreement period, the deposit will be worked from the p surface 2 m. 3.6 Raw Material Required Along With Estimated Quantity, Likely Source, Marketing Area of Final Product/S, Mode of Transport of Raw Material and Finished Product No raw material will be required in the proposed project. The operation involves the extraction of Brick Clay in its existing form. Raw bricks will be cast and transported the kiln site by carts and tracr trolleys through village chak roads. 8 Page Resource optimization/ recycling and reuse Not envisaged. Availability of water its source, energy/ power requirement and source Water Requirement There will be very little requirement of water carry out operations as it will be done manually. The water will be required either for drinking purposes or for casting of bricks. It is projected that not more than 20 labours will be required for the proposed project. Apart from casting of bricks, the tal water requirement will be 1.80 KLD which include 1.0 KLD for sprinkling & plantation and 0.8 KLD for Drinking. All the activities will be carried out manually. The operation will be done in day time; hence there is no power requirement for the project at site Power Requirement The operation will be done only from sun rise sunset. Hence there is no power requirement. 3.9 Quantity of wastes be generated (liquid and solid) and scheme for their management/disposal Solid Waste Generation & its Disposal The entire mineral extracted is saleable. The labors from nearby villages will be hired carry out work in day time only, hence there will be no or very less waste is expected generated Liquid Effluent No liquid effluent will be generated at the excavation site

NH km wards West from the project site & SH km wards E. 4.2 Land form, land use and land ownership The proposed project is located at from Gata No.- 849,850 & 1078 at Village- Chandaunhan, Tehsil -Phulpur, District-Allahabaad, Uttar Pradesh. The excavation of soil from the Non-Agricultural land Sensitivity of Location: The Proposed Mining Activity of brick clay will be carried out. It is a small scale mining without significant hazard. However, the other sensitive areas are discussed below-

10 Page 10 There is no Reserved Forest/Protected Forest within 5 km from proposed project site. There is no National Park, Wild Life Sanctuary within 5 km from proposed project site. The nearest settlement is Chandauhan 600 meters wards W from lease area. 4.3 Topography/Physiography of the area: Brick earth area is marked on cadastral map. The area is almost flat. General slope of the area is wards south east. The highest point is 96 mrl and the lowest point is 94 mrl. 4.4 Existing land use pattern Currently the land is Non-Agricultural land located from Gata No.- 849,850 & 1078 at Village- Chandaunhan, Tehsil -Phulpur, District-Allahabaad, Uttar Pradesh. The excavation of soil from the Non-Agricultural land make the land flat suitable for the agriculture, the excavation of soil is proposed for commercial purpose. The excavation work will provide employment the local labours. 4.5 Soil classification Soil of the area is red sandy loam deep. Sandy loam soil is often deficient in specific micronutrients and may require additional fertilization of support healthy plant growth. Plant that is grown in sandy loam soil need frequent irrigation. 4.6 CLIMATE In Allahabad, the climate is warm and temperate. In winter, there is much more rainfall in Allahabad than in summer. According Köppen and Geiger, this climate is classified as Csa. The average annual temperature in Allahabad is 25.7 C. The average annual rainfall is 981 mm. The precipitation varies 299 mm between the driest month and the wettest month. The average temperatures vary during the year by 18.1 C 4.7 Reserve Estimation: Brick earth reserves have been estimated as per standard procedures. The area of mining land (as per agreement details) and average thickness of mineral (not more than 1.50M) is multiplied get the volume. 10% area wise left of 1 m wide berm all along the periphery of mining land get the area available for actual mining. About 10% mining losses reserves blocked due slope has been considered get the mineable quantity. Detail of calculation is given below:

PLANNING BRIEF 5.1 Planning concept The proposed project is mine brick clay from plot(s) sustainably and scientifically. The minor mineral (clay) will be excavated from the plot(s) as per mining rules and casting of raw bricks will be done which will be transported the kiln through horse cart, trolleys etc. through village chak roads. Mining will be opencast Manual keeping nearby plot(s) unaffected. Maximum depth of mining will be only up 1.50M as per agreement. 5.2 Population projection The project will employ the workers from nearby villages. There will not be any increase in population due the project. 5.3 Landuse planning The land use of the mine lease area is agricultural and there will be no change in landuse after operation. The ultimate land use of the mine lease area will not be change. Extracted mineral will be used in casting raw bricks which will be transported directly the kiln, the workers will be hired locally and temporarily, no housing facility will be required. 5.4 Assessment of Infrastructure Demand

12 Page 12 Extracted mineral will be casted in raw bricks and will be transported directly the owned kiln, there will be no sck yard required for srage, also the workers will be hired locally and temporarily, no housing facility will be required. 5.5 Amenities/facilities Drinking water and first aid facility will be made available the mine workers. 6. PROPOSED INFRASTRUCTURE As mentioned earlier the proposed project will be small scale opencast manual mine. No significant increase in infrastructure is expected due proposed activity. However, under Corporate Social Responsibility. 6.1 Industrial area (Processing Area) No industrial area is proposed. 6.2 Residential area (Non Processing Area) The project will employ most of the workers from nearby villages. So, no housing facility is required. 6.3 Green belt It is proposed plant trees along the road sides and nearby civic amenities in consultation with district administration. 6.4 Connectivity There are metalled roads and unmetalled at the project site. 6.5 Social Infrastructure Temporary rest shelters, drinking water and first aid facility are made available the mine workers with all the required medicines and vaccines. 6.6 Drinking Water Management Water for drinking is required be 0.80 KLD. It is proposed obtain water from construction/potable water from tanker supplier. 6.7 Sewerage System No sewerage system is proposed at the mine site. 6.8 Industrial Waste Management Not applicable. 6.9 Solid Waste management No solid waste generation is expected from the mining operation Power Requirement & Supply/ Source

13 Page 13 All the activities will be carried out manually. The operation will be restricted day time only; hence there is no power requirement for the project at site. 7. REHABILITATION AND RESETTLEMENT (R&R) PLAN Not Applicable. 8. PROJECT SCHEDULE & COST ESTIMATES The project will commence once Environmental Clearance and other necessary certificates are obtained from the respective departments. The soil will be transported brick kiln. The mine will always have economic viability specially, in view of the manual nature of the activity. The tal cost of project would be approx Rs12.00 lacs for 1 years. 9.0 ANALYSIS OF PROPOSAL ( FINAL RECOMMENDATION) Overall the project will have positive and long term impact on environment. The project will also bring positive changes in terms of socio economic development by way of generating direct and indirect employment opportunities the people of vicinity. The project will also help make the field cultivable land otherwise may lead change the shape of the field a raised land making area unusable for agriculture. Also the project will bring economical benefit the state in terms of revenue generation. ***********
