This bridge boasts the world s largest span of a pre-cast segmental bridge at 180m, and is the first bridge in Hong Kong designed with a post-tensioning pre-cast pier structure. City of Dreams, located in the heart of Cotai in Macao, is a unique integrated entertainment resort that combines entertainment, diverse accommodation, international dining, luxurious shopping, and spacious gaming under one roof. The complexities of this record-breaking bridge project include severe marine conditions, complex navigation requirements, restricted land access, airport height restrictions, stringent dolphin monitoring works, and deep rock head levels. To meet the many challenges, the project team is employing multiple technical firsts, such as Hong Kong s first floating batching plant to facilitate marine production and significantly reduce marine and land traffic, which in turn minimises air and noise pollution. 世界最大的預製橋樑組件 香港接線是龐大的港珠澳大橋工程的一部份 項目包括 設計及建造一條9.4公里長的雙程三線高架橋 由粵港 分界線伸延至觀景山的跨海通道 大橋採用了長180米 世界最大的預製橋樑組件 也是香港第一條採用後張法 預製橋墩組件建造的大橋 Designed by the award-winning architect Zaha Hadid, this revolutionary building is set to become an iconic landmark in the city. This 40-storey building features a series of voids carved through the centre of the tower, blending traditional architectural elements of roof, wall and ceiling to create an intriguing sculptural form that defines the exciting internal spaces within. The volume is emphasised with the use of an exposed exoskeleton mesh structure. 5 2014 TUEN MUN CHEK LAP KOK LINK LIANTANG / HEUNG YUEN WAI BOUNDARY CONTROL POINT MTR SHATIN TO CENTRAL LINK NORTHERN CONNECTION SUB-SEA TUNNEL SECTION SITE FORMATION AND INFRASTRUCTURE WORKS CONTRACT 2 屯門至赤鱲角連接路 北面連接路 海底隧道段 蓮塘 / 香園圍口岸土地平整及 基礎建設工程 工程合約2 Constructing Hong Kong s deepest, longest and largest sub-sea road tunnel with the world s largest Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM) The world s largest TBM of 17.6m in diameter, together with two identical mix-shield TBMs of 14m in diameter, are being employed to construct this 5km-long dual two-lane sub-sea tunnel more than 50m below sea level. These state-of-the-art machines are equipped with three in-house innovations, namely MOBYDIC, SNAKE and TELEMACH, which enable real-time geological mapping of rock faces and robotic detection of damaged components on the cutter head to reduce manual inspections under hyperbaric conditions. Working under a compressed-air environment is the key challenge of the project. To maximise the health and safety of workers while also enhancing work efficiency, Dragages has implemented a saturation diving work method. 起用全球最大型隧道鑽挖機 建造本地最大 最長 最深的海底行車隧道 本項目涉及在五十米下的水底建造一條5公里長的雙管道 雙線海底隧道 工程人員起用全球最大型 直徑17.6米 的隧道鑽挖機和兩台直徑14米的混合盾構式隧道鑽挖機 隧道鑽挖機均配置由寶嘉自行研製的嶄新系統 MOBYDIC SNAKE及TELEMACH 即時勘察巖石的表面 情況 以及自動偵測鑽頭零件的損壞程度 從而減少於 高壓情況下人手檢查的程序 如何在壓縮空氣的環境下施工是本項目的重大挑戰 工程團隊採用飽和潛水方式維修隧道鑽挖機的鑽頭 保障 工程人員的健康與安全 同時提升施工效率 economic integration By enhancing the regional transport network between Hong Kong, Macao, Shenzhen and Zhuhai, this project will contribute to the economic integration of Hong Kong and the Pearl River Delta Region. 藉著提升來往香港 澳門 深圳和珠海的交通網絡 本項目將有助加強香港 和珠江三角洲的經濟融合 CAUSEWAY BAY TYPHOON SHELTER TO ADMIRALTY TUNNELS CONTRACT NO.1128 港鐵沙田至中環綫 銅鑼灣避風塘至金鐘站 鐵路隧道建造工程 合約編號1128 Driving through complex ground conditions to create an efficient strategic link One of Hong Kong s most technically demanding tunnel projects The project comprises the design and construction of a dual two-lane trunk road, including a 4.8km-long tunnel, associated ventilation buildings, and an administration building. The main scope of the project is to construct Eastern Tunnels and Western Tunnels using Tunnel Boring Machines (TBMs) beneath the city s busiest districts. To cope with the complex geological conditions, Dragages has deployed a Variable Density TBM, which can cater for thin to high-density slurry under shallow ground conditions. Facing various ground conditions along the route, Dragages has adopted a combination of Tunnel Boring Machine (TBM), and drill and blast methods. In the northern section tunnels where various fault zones are located, the city s largest dual-mode Earth Pressure Balanced (EPB) TBM is being used. This mega-sized TBM is equipped with two in-house innovations, namely MOBYDIC and TELEMACH, which enable real-time geological mapping of rock faces and the detection of damaged cutter head components. The adoption of an underpinning scheme and 3D Plaxis modelling enables the safe removal of pile obstructions while maintaining high levels of performance.
