The following items are clarifications, additions, deletions and/or revisions to and shall take precedence over the original documents. QUESTIONS POSTED ON PUBLIC PURCHASE FROM FLORIDA DESIGN CONTRACTORS, INC ON 10/6/2014, AND ANSWERS FROM KING ENGINEERING ASSOCIATES, INC: Question 1: Re: 01014, Page , 6. Overtime Costs for Night time work. Is it assumed that at the pre-bid we had discussed the 30" tie-in will be done at night? Will the City or the Engineer need to be compensated for these costs? City Answer: CHANGE Line 30 on Page to read as follows: "No overtime costs shall be incurred by the Contractor due to the scheduled night time tie-in at the 30-inch cross. Other than the 30-inch tie-in, no overtime costs shall be incurred by the Owner due to schedule." Question 2: Re: 01015, Page Water for Construction. Will the City provide a water meter for use of construction water and waive the cost? City Answer: CHANGE Lines 8 and 9 on Page to read as follows: flushing, cleaning and testing purposes. The Owner will provide the Contractor with a 2-inch water meter and backflow preventer for the Contractor s use. The Owner will pay for water used during construction for flushing, testing and cleaning purposes, and for reasonable amounts used for other purposes. Question 3: Re: 01625, page 3, 3.02, Pressure Test, D. Will the City make available Reclaimed water at no charge for all "non-potable" lines? City Answer: The City does not have Reclaimed Water (RCW). The City will provide water as stated in City Answer to Question #2 above. Question 4: Re: 01625, page 4, E., "Newly installed pressure main shall be tested at a pressure equal 1.5 times the pipeline design pressure or 150 psi; whichever is greater, or as specified below for each individual piping system." Can you please identify what would be considered a pressure mainline that would need to be tested at 150PSI. City Answer: Test pressures shall be as specified in Section Question 5: Re: 13567, Temporary Bypass Piping System. Part1, General. "The contractor shall employ the services of a subcontractor specializing in the design, furnishing and operating of temporary bypass systems. The contractor shall provide five (5) references for projects performed by the bypass contractor of similar size and complexity as the proposed system for review by the engineer." Part A: Will the Contractor be able to engage with a Florida Registered Professional Engineer to do the design and calculations not through the equipment rental Bypass companies? City Answer: Yes. ENGINEER S NOTE: CHANGE Line 20 on Page to read as follows: Contractor shall provide three (3) references for the projects performed by the Part B: Once designed and approved can the installation be done by the contactor having more than 5 years experience in the industry. General Contractor? City Answer: Installation shall be in accordance with Section

Bypass Piping System, A, All HDPE piping used for temporary bypass piping shall be in accordance with Specification Section Part A: Will the entire bypass system need to be constructed using HDPE or is C-900 and DIP fittings approved? City Answer: CHANGE Line 29 on Page to read as follows: Specification Section or shall be PVC C900 or C905 in accordance with Specification Section 02061, with ductile iron fittings in accordance with Specification Section Part B: Will the bypass system need to be pressure tested per section as describe above? (30 psi raw water and mixed liquor lines). City Answer: No. Question 7: Re: Plan Sheet D1.02 Detail A., Flanged Joint Wall Pipe. The existing plant uses flush mount wall sleeves and Link Seals. Will the engineer consider the same application for the Effluent to AR basin and ML to clarifiers? City Answer: Please refer to following changes to the drawings: On Sheets #M1.00, #M1.01 and #M1.02, CHANGE all references to above ground, 20-inch and larger Flanged Wall Pipe, whether called out or shown, to read as follows: Wall Sleeve and Seal Detail (Typ.) See Detail Sht. D1.02 On Sheets #M1.00 and #M1.01, ADD the following note: The raw sewage and mixed liquor equalization pipes shall each be supported on each side of the plug valve by a Flanged Saddle Support (2 required for each pipe) in accordance with the detail shown on Sht. No. D1.02. On Sheet #D1.02, DELETE the Flanged Joint Wall Pipe detail and REPLACE with the attached Wall Sleeve and Seal Detail. On Sheet #D1.02, ADD the attached Flanged Saddle Support Detail. On Sheet #S1.01, DELETE the Base Slab Plan and REPLACE with the attached Base Slab Plan. On Sheet #S1.02, DELETE Section 3 and REPLACE with the attached Section 3. Question 8: Re: Geotechnical Report Dated July 2014., Page3, Evaluation and Foundation Recommendations., Second paragraph referencing "Backfill soils placed around the tank should consist of inorganic, granular soils comprising the SP to SP-SM Unified classifications. The excavated soils appear to be suitable for this purpose." Section 02221, Page 7, 3.07 Pipe Bedding, paragraph B, "All pipe bedding materials shall be select fill." Is the onsite excavated materials considered suitable for Pipe Bedding provided is within the moisture content? City Answer: Pipe backfill shall be in accordance with Section

Failure to acknowledge addenda shall result in the rejection of your submittal package in its entirety if the addendum changes are deemed MATERIAL.
