This progress report is for your review and records. Within this report you will find detailed information related to Progress, Budget, and Schedule. 4 Section 1 Executive Summary

5 Phase V Capital Project Executive Summary Progress and Schedule Overview With the school year now underway, the work scheduled for the stadium is in the closing stages. Construction at the High School is continuing and progressing very well. At the High School and Middle School site, the site contractor has completed installation of the D-zone track logos and is continuing to compile all close out documentation. At the pool, the general contractor has completed removal of all demolition materials and has hauled offsite. The general contractor has begun excavating for the new pool footers and foundations. The general contractor has also begun installation of the helical piles on the North end of the pool and will be working their way to the South end. At door 7, the general contractor is continuing the masonry block work and is coordinating with the other trades on penetrations through the block walls for new mechanical equipment that is located in the basement. The general contractor has also completed building out the generator, boiler, and electrical room in the basement. Also at door 7, the general contractor has completed installation of the temporary ramp that will serve as emergency exiting. In the Gym B locker rooms, the general contractor has completed all framing, drywall, and ceiling grid work. They are currently installing finishes around the space that include, floor and wall tile, painting, lockers, benches and bathroom accessories. The electrical contractor has completed installation of the new light fixtures and plumbing contractor is continuing installation of bathroom fixtures. The mechanical contractor has continued to install new gas lines that will serve the roof top units installed. They are preparing for a gas shutdown on October 8 (Columbus Day) for the tie in work. The HVAC contractor has also completed installation of housekeeping pads for the mechanical equipment in the basement. The site contractor has completed removal of the existing pool tanks and is preparing to install the new underground storm line.

6 Budget Summary Included in Section 3 are the budget summary spreadsheets detailing where the project stands with each prime contractor for the Capital Project. This budget summary is a total project amount of $29,059,962. Through the month of September, Phase V project is approximately 28.6 % complete, based on the contractor s pay applications, stored materials and work completed. The Project Construction Contingency is $695,685 and of that value, the District has approved 10,057 in project change orders to date. Also built into the prime contractor s contract values are specific and contingency allowances, with the values different for each contract. The total project allowance value for Phase V is $245,000, with $49,764 allowance draw-downs allocated at this time. Currently the project team is tracking issues with an approximate value of $24,116 for the ongoing construction work. This information can be reviewed in Section 4 of this report under the Issue Log.
