The bid date shall be extended from Tuesday, June 28, 2016 to Tuesday, July 5, 2016 at 11:00 a.m., local time in the office of the Board of Commissioners of Union County located in the County Office Building, 233 W. Sixth Street, Marysville, OH The proposals will be opened and read aloud immediately thereafter. 2. Proposal : Replace proposal sheets in their entirety with the proposal included herein this addendum. Proposal on website will be updated to reflect this revision. 3. Line Item 20 of the proposal changed to 8 PVC Process Piping 20 LF and includes the pipe from the filter to the UV chamber 4. Line Item 21 adjusted to 190 LF and includes the overflow from the filter and the clarifier bypass piping. 5. Line item 22 adjusted to 66 LF to include the 2 Sch 80 PVC that was changed to 3 Sch 80 PVC in the first addendum 6. Line item 23 2 Sch 80 PVC removed 7. To clarify the leak repair on sheet C4 a photo of the crack is shown. Contractor to use grout to repair the leak. 8. Additional specifications for the stairs are attached. 4 Prefabricated Stair, Platform and Railing Prefabricated stair and platform unit shall be of galvanized steel construction open grate stair treads and platform and open risers, complete with integral balusters and handrailing. Fabricate stair assembly to support a uniform live load of 100 lb/sq ft and a concentrated load of 300 lb/sq ft with deflection of stringer or landing framing not to exceed 1/240 of span. Test in accordance with ASTM A935. Railing assembly and attachments to resist lateral force of 75 lbs at any point without damage or permanent set. Test in accordance with ASTM A935. Fabricate stair assembly to NAAMM - Metal Stairs Manual, Class Industrial. Perform Work in accordance with ASTM E985 - Permanent Metal Railing Systems and Rails for Buildings. Fabricate treads and form landings in accordance with ANSI A202.1, of welded steel construction and galvanized finish. Galvanize items to minimum 1.25 oz/sq ft zinc coating in accordance with ASTM A123. Stair, platform and railing assembly dimensions and configuration shall meet the requirements of Ohio Basic Building Code. Submit shop drawings to Owner s engineer for review and approval prior to fabrication. Indicate dimensional layout, profiles, sizes, connection attachments, reinforcing, anchorage, size and type of fasteners, and accessories. Indicate welded connections and net weld lengths using standard AWS A2.0 welding symbols. Prepare Shop Drawings under direct supervision of a Professional Structural Engineer experienced in design of this work and licensed in the State of Ohio. County Engineer 233 W.
