1 THE UNITED REPUBLIC OF TANZANIA MINISTRY OF WORKS, TRANSPORT AND COMMUNICATION TANZANIA NATIONAL ROADS AGENCY REGIONAL MANAGER S OFFICE - RUKWA INVITATION FOR TENDERS (IFT) 10 th August, This Invitation for Tenders follows the Revised General Procurement Notice for these Projects which appeared in The Daily News paper dated 22/06/ The Government of the United Republic of Tanzania through the Tanzania National Roads Agency (TANROADS) has set aside funds for the operation of Rehabilitation and Maintenance works during the financial Year 2017/18. It is intended that part of the proceeds of the fund will be used to cover eligible payments under various contracts for Rehabilitation and Maintenance of Trunk and Regional roads in Rukwa Region. 3. The Regional Manager - TANROADS Rukwa on behalf of the Chief Executive of TANROADS now invites sealed tenders from eligible National contractors. Tendering is open to all registered with the Registration Board (CRB) in the indicated classes shown in Table 1. Page 1 of 8

Interested eligible tenderers may obtain further information from and inspect the Tendering Documents at the Regional Manager s Office, TANROADS Rukwa, P. O. Box 4 Sumbawanga from 0800 hours to 1630 hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive except on public holidays. Page 7 of 8

A complete set of Tendering Document in English language and additional sets may be purchased by interested Tenderers on the submission of a written application to the address given under paragraph 5 and upon payment of a non-refundable fee of indicated in Table 1 for each tender. Payment should either be by Cash, Banker s Draft, or Banker s Cheque, payable to the Regional Manager, TANROADS Rukwa, P. O. Box 4 Sumbawanga. 7. All tenders must be accompanied by Tender Securing Declaration in the format provided in the Tendering Documents. 8. All tenders in one original plus one copy, properly filled in, and enclosed in plain envelopes must be delivered to the Secretary, Delegated TANROADS Regional Tender Board - Rukwa Region, P. O. Box 4 Sumbawanga at or before hours on Thursday 31 st August, Tenders will be opened promptly thereafter in public and in the presence of Tenderers representatives who choose to attend in the opening at the Regional Manager s Office, TANROADS Rukwa. 9. Tenderers are advised to visit sites for the referred tenders at their own cost, time and convenience.
