1 Addendum 1 Willamalane Center for Sports and Recreation 250 S. 32nd St., Springfield OR willamalane.org DATE: February 26 th, 2016 PROJECT: Meadow Park Site Improvements OWNER: Willamalane Park and Recreation District 250 S. 32 nd Street Springfield, OR TO: Bidders Bids Due: 2:00 p.m. and Bid Opening: 2:15 p.m. Tuesday, March 8 th 2016 Willamalane Center for Sports and Recreation 250 South 32nd Street Springfield, Oregon This addendum modifies the Contract Documents for the subject project and shall become a part of the Contract Documents. Except as modified in this Addendum, the Project Manual containing the Contract Documents dated February 17th, 2016 to remain in effect and control all submissions. Bidders shall acknowledge receipt of this addendum in the space provided in Section Bid Form and also on the outside of your bid envelope. Failure to do so may subject bidder to disqualification. Please note the following corrections, revisions and clarifications to the Contract Documents: General: 1. The Pre-Bid Meeting attendance sheet is attached. 2. Engineering construction estimate is in the region of $300,000, including bid alternate #1. This does not include the owner supplied materials. 3. If Bid Alternate #1 is accepted, no change to the substantial or final completion dates will be made. 4. Utility locates within the park will be the responsibility of the contractor. Willamalane irrigation specialist and electrician may be able to assist with their knowledge of the park. 5. Building, and Land and Drainage Alteration Permit (LDAP), to be obtained by Willamalane. Willamalane has learned that the contractor will have to submit for an encroachment permit as part of the traffic control plan, for the concrete work within the right of way (planter strip). Willamalane will pay for the permit, but the contractor has to submit applicable plans and descriptions as required by the City of Springfield. 2 DELETE: ADD: Whole paragraph. A. Workmanship: Playground safety surfacing tiles shall be warranted for defects in workmanship for 2 years from date of completed installation. Paragraph Tiles DELETE: Line 12: Pattern: Tile to be lain in pattern to be confirmed by owner. ADD: Line 12: Pattern: Tile to be laid in pattern as included with Addendum #1. PROJECT PLANS: Sheet C1.01 Keynote 13: If Bid Alternate #1 is accepted, the contractor shall demolish and dispose of the existing picnic shelter structure, and repair the west edge of the remaining roof (over the restroom building) including any eave, soffit, fascia, drip edge, roofing material etc. This cost shall be included within Bid Alternate #1. 1.
