1 Form A Application for a Permanent Water Connection Water Plus are experienced in all technical aspects associated with attaining new water, wastewater and temporary connections. If you require help with any part of the process, please contact us. Specialist support includes WIRS accredited design, water and drainage modelling, flow and pressure testing. Also covered is completing application forms and liaising with Scottish Water, through to soil investigations (SI), mains installation, pressure testing and chlorination and ultimately, final connections. To speed up the processing of this form please fill in all the details. Applications can only be finalised once this form is completed and ed to scotlandconnections@water-plus.co.uk along with these three* documents: 1. Site location plan 2. Internal/external schematics 3. External design proposal showing the route of the new connection(s) from the Scottish Water mains to the property *Water Plus provides a design service to create these documents according to your requirements (and can provide a quote to complete the documents). Tips to help speed up the process If your new connection is replacing an existing one please apply for it to be disconnected. Please complete and attach the form entitled Application for a Permanent Disconnection. Note that you can only apply for a disconnection via Water Plus for an existing connection/meter should this be supplied by us (United Utilities/ Severn Trent). Contact us should there be any queries in this regard. To make sure the connection and meter (as applicable) are sized correctly, please complete the Meter Size Data Assessment Sheet form found at the rear of this application form. Note this is not required where a firefighting only connection is proposed. All connections above 32mm need to meet the Scottish Water standards for soil investigation, fire authority approval and require a WIRS accredited design.
