TO ALL PROSPECTIVE BIDDERS: Please be advised of the following clarifications to the above referenced bid: 1) GENERAL: a) Addendum#3 has been issued to revise the Bid Opening Date to Friday, March 29 th, at 1pm (local time) at the City of Nicholasville City Hall, 517 N. Main Street, Nicholasville, KY ) SPECIFICATIONS: a) Section Bid Form has been updated to include Acknowledgement of Addendum #3. b) Section Advertisement for Bids has been updated to include the revised Bid Opening date. 3) DRAWINGS: a) N/A 4) CONTRACTOR QUESTIONS: 1) The specs and AE sheets call for integral bowls for the restrooms & the 2 bowl sink in the Dayroom/Break Room but the P sheets call out an American Standard undermount and Elkay Sink. Can you clarify which are the correct specifications? Response: Utilize integral Bowls for the restrooms. 2 Bowl Stainless Sink for the Dayroom / Breakroom. ADDENDUM #3 1

Base Bid, Single-Prime (All Trades) Contract: The undersigned Bidder, having carefully examined the Procurement and Contracting Requirements, Conditions of the Contract, Drawings, Specifications, and all subsequent Addenda, as prepared by GRW, having visited the site, and being familiar with all conditions and requirements of the Work, hereby agrees to furnish all material, labor, equipment and services necessary to complete the construction of the above-named project, according to the requirements of the Procurement and Contracting Documents, for the stipulated sum of: 1. The project scope includes the Construction of the New City of Nicholasville Fire Station #4, located on East Brannon Road in Nicholasville KY. The building program includes 7,225 SF of Office, Dormitory, and Apparatus Bay space. The primary building structure is reinforced masonry, with brick, masonry, and insulated metal panel façade elements. In addition, all site work, landscaping, utility connections, and site improvements are included in the contract. The primary site improvements include asphalt parking, concrete drives, landscaping and a backup utility generator system. 6 1.2 WORK HOURS 1. On-Site Work Hours: Unless otherwise coordinated with the owner and jurisdiction, limit work to business Hours and Weekends. Follow local ordinances. 1.3 CONSTRUCTION CONTRACT: 1. Bids will be received for the following Work: a. General Contract (all trades). 1.4 BID SUBMITTAL AND OPENING A. Owner will receive sealed lump sum bids until the bid time and date at the location given below. Owner will consider bids prepared in compliance with the Instructions to Bidders issued by Owner, and delivered as follows: 1. Bid Date: Friday, March 29 th, Bid Time: 1:00 p.m., local time. 3. Location: City of Nicholasville City Hall 517 N. Main Street. Nicholasville, KY B. Bids will be thereafter publicly opened and read aloud. 1.5 BID SECURITY A. Bid security shall be submitted with each bid in the amount of 5 percent of the bid amount. No bids may be withdrawn for a period of 90 days after opening of bids. Owner reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities and irregularities. Nothing in these bid documents shall obligate Owner to enter into a contract with any bidder. Printed Procurement and Contracting Documents: Obtain on or after February 26 th, 2019, by contacting GRW s Online Plan Room ( Documents will be provided to prime bidders only; only complete sets of documents will be issued. Successful bidder shall begin the Work on receipt of the Notice to Proceed and shall complete the Work within the Contract Time. Work is subject to liquidated damages of $250/day. B. Successful bidder shall complete substantial completion within 12 months of Notice to Proceed. 1.8 BIDDER'S QUALIFICATIONS A. Bidders must be properly licensed under the laws governing their respective trades and be able to obtain insurance and bonds required for the Work. A Performance Bond, separate Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Insurance in a form acceptable to Owner will be required of the successful Bidder. 1.9 NOTIFICATION A.
