3 Project Initiation Document To be completed by Project Manager Project Scope Consultation will be carried out with the area engineer, emergency services, ward members, parish/town councils, public transport, passenger services and local businesses. The schemes will be designed using internal resources. Statutory undertakers will be contacted regarding the locations of their apparatus. 1. Develop the brief and submit to the Group Manager for approval before proceeding 2. Project manager to develop PID, feasibility and option appraisal for each scheme and submit to Gateway A 3. Project manager to develop the preferred option for each scheme and request procurement decision and submit to Gateway B 4. Project manager to develop tender report and submit to Gateway C 5. 7 Project Bank Account (PBA) Retention No, using Streetscene for projects Streetworks Notification An initial (3 month minimum advance notice) Streetworks Notice including any traffic diversion routes was issued to the Streetworks Team when works are ordered and subsequent updates will follow as the project progresses. The Designer(s) for this project is Jenny Crabb (where only one designer is required a Principal Designer is not required) The CES CDM Steering Group will be notified of this scheme following Gateway C approval Notification to the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) The estimated works programme does not exceed 30 working days and require more than 20 workers simultaneously or at any one point OR exceed 500 person days therefore the project is not notifiable to the HSE.
