5 DOOR FRAME ASSEMBLY MHST 20 a b c Cut the door frame to size. Note the calculation of the cutting dimension (leaf and fixed part 9 mm above upper edge of the finished flooring; door frame 1 mm shorter than the leaf or 10 mm above the upper edge of the finished flooring). Cut the threshold MHST 20 to length (length = element width). Depending on the system, insert the frame adapter into the upright frame profile (7.3 mm adaptor). 6 ADAPTOR ASSEMBLY AND FIXED LEAF INSTALLATION Ø5.5 Ø6.5 a Pre-drill the plastic adaptor and tighten it with 4.2 x 70 mm screws with 15 mm offset to the front edge of the fixed leaf (see page 9). b c Pre-drill the fixing bores of the fixed leaf with a distance of 350 mm through the adaptor and the threshold with Ø 6.5 mm. Adjust and fix the fixed leaf into the frame. When adjusting the fixed leaf on the threshold, note the sliding leaf dimension. d Tighten the fixed leaf with Ø 6 mm screws to the threshold at the bottom. 6 September 2015

7 SLIDING LEAF ASSEMBLY Plastic roller support 21 x 17 mm (must be adapted to profile and fittings depending on the system) Engage the magnet holder into the groove and fix it using adhesive (length of the magnet holder = leaf width). Fix the upper magnet at the aluminum magnet holder using double adhesive tape (length of the magnet and the seals, see page 9) Carriage and fittings assembly according to the fittings manufacturers instructions. Insert the seal into the magnet holder and fix it using adhesive. SEALING CUSHION ASSEMBLY Door closed Door open 6,2 6,2 10,2 10,2 Apply adhesive to the sealing cushion and fix it below the fixed leaf acc. to view on page 8 on the threshold. Fix the sealing cushion at the aluminum magnet and sealing holder (see page 8) Neatly trim the sealing cushion here Important note on handle drill holes: Depending on the thickness of the plastic roller support and profile system, the handle drill holes will shift down by the thickness of the roller support. We therefore recommend that you drill the holes for the handle only after you determine the thickness of the roller support. The standard drill holes should not be regarded as universally valid. 10 INSTALLATION SITUATION Plastic assembly and sealing plates welded with the sealing sheet onto the corner angle Sealing strip, d = 1.5 mm, sheet width approx. 550 mm, standard WOLFIN, option EVALON. Plastic profile for wall connection The external corners supplied by the manufacturer are welded into by the sealing manufacturer, the internal corners are to be made in an expert and proper manner Water drain opening with hose connection. Discharge by the customer with the plastic hose, optionally, into a gutter, drain system, in the roof gutter, in a waterspout or in the gravel bed via the ALUMAT drain pipe. Composite sheet, fixed (watertight) at the water reservoir and welded on to the sealing strip by the manufacturer As the connection heights do not comply with the regulations regarding barrier-free construction, it should be agreed upon by the buyer separately and in writing. The notes provided in DIN Section 5 Paragraph as well as the German Flat Roof Guidelines are to be considered. The local conditions are to be considered. 10 September 2015
