4 HOARDINGS With our direct printing technology we are well equipped to undertake a diverse range of hoarding and building signage projects. We provide high specification printing for temporary site screens on construction sites, new builds, facades, retail refurbishments, sales centres, marketing suites and longer term uses such as school sports, fitness centre and sports stadium signage and many other applications. It is extensively used for signage and hoardings. With a flat surface it is used for applying vinyl or for direct digital printing. WHITE GLOSS & MATT VINYL It s ideal for exterior graphics especially hoardings. Self adhesive so easy to apply, more for longer term use. Pliable for application to curved walls. 8 BESPOKE MATERIALS With the leaps and bounds of digital print technology, printing to plastic, glass and fabric is well established. But now other material such as ceramics and wood are becoming popular print materials. With the advent of the new breed of flat-bed printers, such as our Arizona 460XT, there are many exciting possibilities and many rigid or flexible materials that have a flat surface can printed on such as aluminium, PVC s, wood, acrylic, MDF, glass, metal, Foamex, display board, corrugated boards and objects such as chairs and tables! There are virtually no limits to what we can print to, you are limited only by your imagination. GLASS We offer a selection of glass sheets (e.g. frosted glass, coloured glass and stained glass) to suit a range of applications. TILES We offer a selection of tiles (e.g. wall tiles and floor tiles) to suit a range of applications. 9 VENEERED MDF Generally accepted as the most versatile of all boards. MDF has excellent machining properties, is easily sawn, drilled, routed and moulded. 10 TEXTILES & BANNERS We print textiles in many applications across exhibitions, conference, museums, events and retail. The products that we can produce include outdoor sail flags, hanging banners, pop up banners for indoor or outdoor events, exhibitions or signage. With lots of format options available we produce all sorts of banners for indoor and outdoor use, advising on the most suitable material, from external grade PVC to canvas and flag fabrics and finishing options such as hemming and eyelets. PVC BANNER A premium coated frontlit banner with a fire retardant additive incorporated. Ideal for wide format banners and indoor display areas where health and safety is of primary importance. 11 JETTEX Jettex is a natural looking fabric that is lightweight, non reflective. It is ideal for interior use such as for wall covering, window display backdrops, displays, roll-ups, point of sale displays and tradeshow booths. ARTEX CANVAS Canvas textile with a PVC coating used to print high-end indoor and outdoor banners. As an added benefit, Artex Canvas can be used with most clear, strippable wall paper pastes to provide high quality wall graphics. Jettex supplied in roll format. 12 ECO-FRIENDLY SOLUTIONS We are continually looking at alternatives to our frequently used materials to find more eco-friendly options that reduce our environmental footprint. Acrylic that is 100% recycled is a low impact solution for displays and POS, with optical clarity and available in a wide range of colour and sizes. For printing to board we have a range of eco-friendly board materials such as Foamalux Xtra which contains 80% recycled content from production and post consumer waste. It is lightweight, versatile and smooth with a wide range of colours. Re-Board is a paper-based board, lightweight durable, recyclable with a small CO 2 footprint and Dufaylite is a lightweight, 100% recyclable board. DUFAYLITE Dufaylite is made from 100% recycled paper. It s great for printing applications such as point of sale, signage and exhibition displays. 13 FLOOR GRAPHICS Bring the world beneath your feet to life with our anti-slip floor graphics. Printed flooring is a great way to capture attention, direct customer flow and enhance branding and is cost effective and easy to install, ideal for retail, exhibitions and events. 14 MEDIA WALLS The lasting images of many events are the photo galleries of VIP guests and award winners taken against the event and sponsor logo press wall or media-run, to use an industry term. These can be a pop-up wall or banner backdrop. 15 DIGITAL WALLPAPER Bringing affordable large-format images to domestic or commercial environments, custom digital wallpaper is an exciting development from new digital print technology. Giving designers a new palette of options to brand a space or create an ambience, we can custom print everything from one wall to large linear runs. Digital wallpaper can be supplied in numerous formats, from selfadhesive to pasted; from PVC to paper. It s versatility means it can applied to so many spaces, public, domestic and commercial. 22 ARTWORK SPECIFICATIONS COMPUTER SYSTEMS USED Apple Macintosh OS X PREFERRED APPLICATIONS USED Blue Ant Impress use the industry standard applications for design and production purposes. We can accept open files created in and all formats generated by the following applications: ADOBE PHOTOSHOP CC ADOBE ILLUSTRATOR CC ADOBE INDESIGN CC For artwork created in other applications, please contact us first - a test file may be required. FILE FORMATS Our preferred file formats are: PDF, EPS, JPEG, TIFF, INDD, AI and PSD INKJET & LARGE-FORMAT PRODUCTION When supplying digital files for Inkjet large-format output, whether they are full colour, greyscale or duotone, they must be saved as a CMYK PDF, TIFF or EPS file. For us to obtain the best possible results, all images must be supplied at final output size (or scale of ) at 100dpi (ideal) and no lower than 86dpi (minimum). Please ensure embedded images/ logos also meet this spec. Where bleed is necessary, the artwork must be supplied with bleed included. Please always make a point of checking your artwork at a 100% before sending, to ensure the quality of resolution meets your requirements. Any fonts used in the layout/s are to be supplied or converted to outlines.

23 For A3/A4 full colour laser printing, same spec as above but resolution to be at 300dpi (at final output size). For most accurate colour matching, a hard copy full colour proof should be provided. All files supplied digitally should be accompanied by a full colour PDF proof showing dimensions and bleed where applicable. VINYL CUTTING / FRET CUT All files should be supplied as vector files (ie. Adobe Illustrator), created to outlines and saved as an Adobe Illustrator AI or EPS file. SCANNING We are able to scan prints/material up to A3 size, along with negatives and transparencies of most standard sizes. FILE DELIVERY Files can be delivered to us by (if file size is less than 10mb) or by post on CD or DVD. We also have an FTP server that can be used to upload files directly to our studio. Please contact us for a login. We will also download artwork from your web links/ftp servers, however we cannot be held responsible for project delays caused by problems connecting to external servers.
