4 Key data We offer CLT rib panel made from Cro Laminated Timber (CLT) and gluelaminated timber (glulam) by Stora Eno. Enabling long pan floor and roof tructure, CLT rib panel provide more flexible and attractive layout e.g. commercial office building, reidential contruction, chool, indutrial building, long pan roof etc. CLT rib panel are made in a climatecontrolled environment. They can be tranported to the contruction ite jut in time for aembly. You can intall the CLT rib panel quickly, uing regular tool and jut a few carpenter. 8 Comparion to CLT At longer pan, CLT rib panel have a ignificant advantage in cot over other wooden floor type. 10 Economic benefit Reduced number of element mean efficient contruction programme Becaue CLT rib panel are prefabricated and lightweight, a quicker work flow i poible from delivery to aembly compared to other contruction method. No forming or curing time, no pecial equipment needed, reducing the noie and dut pollution normally aociated with contruction uing nonrenewable material. It i important to maintain the peed of contruction a the frame will be on a project critical path, o the allowance for ufficient craneage i paramount, coupled with the careful planning of deliverie and the time connected to the crane. Intallation rate are dominated by hook time. Fewer piece to intall will reduce the contruction programme, and therefore aving in e.g. preliminarie. Alo other contruction activitie can be therefore tarted earlier. CLT rib panel are a good olution in challenging ground condition While a long pan layout may have a higher overall frame cot, there are uually efficiencie in other area of the contruction, that can compenate for thi and bring aving in total cot. In poor oil condition, a reduced loading from lower elfweight will help, to keep foundation work to a minimum. The capability of CLT rib panel, panning over long ditance, will increae the foundation grid and therefore reduce the total foundation cot. Thank to low elfweight and good panning capability of CLT rib panel, fewer loadbearing wall or column are required, reulting in direct aving in foundation cot. The good panning capability i alo a benefit for building with car park or other imilar pace impacting the (uually wider) column pacing above. Long pan floor with CLT rib panel can reduce the number of component to be intalled by up to 20 30% keeping the contruction cot down. 11 Production Stora Eno Wood Product diviion provide veratile woodbaed olution for building and contruction. The rib are glued to the CLT panel uing cientifically proven method, that were etablihed together with everal reearch facilitie acro Europe. The preure to the glue line will be applied by mean of a crew glue application. While the crew will remain in the rib panel, they will not tranfer any load in the regular ervice tate. However they become eential for fire deign. To enure a proper quality in the tructural glue line between rib and CLT, mall ample are drawn from the CLT rib panel. That happen in a way, o the ampling location will not be viible when intalled. CLT rib panel are produced in Stora Eno' Ybb mill in Autria. 11

16 BIM Toolbox To upport building profeional, Stora Eno bring the building component to every architect and engineer' dektop. Stora Eno' product information i now available a BIM object. Deigner can find CLT and CLT rib element a BIM object (currently only for Revit), and many tructural detail in DWG and PDF format. ProdLib uer need to download the product library firt and after that the Stora Eno building component and ytem are eaily available and continuouly updated. Revit uer get the BIM object directly in their own oftware by clicking the Stora Eno icon. The tructure type and contruction detail are eay to find with a cutomied interface by clicking a pecific part in the example building. 16

17 Calculati by Stora Eno Stora Eno provide an efficient, tate of the art deign tool for engineer. Calculati i a ingle member deign program that can analye tructural element in LVL, CLT, glued laminated timber and claic awn product. Calculati now include deign module for our new CLT rib panel, according to ETA17/0911. Together with the other module, all required deign tep in timber contruction can be done uing Calculati. The oftware i available in 6 different language. Output file (PDF) can be created in each of thee language, independent from the operating language. Calculati i independent from any operating ytem and can be ued on dektop, laptop, or tablet computer. It can be ued through your web brower.
